I spent 50hours last week on route 114 in Hoenn, all the pokemon are cool but of course Zangoose is the best. But after a while I realised a swablue would be great for johto so I went to the horde spot in sinnoh and on saturday I got blessed with a shiny.

Yo patrouski i got my first OT shiny last night. Beat the unova elite four and was EV training speed and got a shiny rapidash 🎉🎉🎉🎉. I don't think I've even had 30k total encounters in the game yet. 3rd week playing. Im also not using a counter. I understand why they can be useful but at the same time seeing that number rise way past 30k is probably discouraging for some. Id rather just have fun and get lost in the grind.
Hello i live in Asia i didnt start pokemmo yet. But i wanna know whats the ping you guys get. And other question is is there a Eu Proxy server? I dont wanna lag in the server.
Pretty sure there are enough servers around the world where ping shouldnt be an issue, i think most people have around 50-60 on average, and ping isnt going to matter much in a pokemon game tbf, theres no slingshotting or any other lag that ive seen if thats what your wondering

Does the Staryu encounter rate at route 13 seem bugged/nerfed for anyone else? A few months ago I was getting about a 50-55% encounter rate and now it's around a 20-25% rate. I'll keep testing but something feels off.
It doesn’t matter how many encounters u have, the shiny rate never changes, its 1/30k, ur never more likely to receive a shiny in one encounter vs the other. I always tell people to imagine its like rolling a 30 thousand sided die.
Expert lures should only be costing you 7-15k an hour: ua-cam.com/video/1HukFmXNdjQ/v-deo.html I have tested since this as well and have gotten the same numbers.

8:30 that spot is where i found my only ever shiny. Was in the original ds fames not pokemmo. A sunkern.

My favorite single spots are scyther/scizor with a lure at their spot in sinnoh, and wailmer in slateport.

Lure worth it on staryu shunt rt 13?
it depends on the extra lure encounter there but id guess yes for more/faster encounters. Lure + swarm ability or other encounter increase oob
why not speed the process by shiny hunting a 5 horde pokemon from 0 to 18,000 encounters. maybe even 23k encounters?
