- This will hopefully be the start of a series looking into Viv's parts from this great show in Japan on the Euphoria tour. This wasn't the first song of the set but I picked it to start out with as I like Viv's solo at the end. I hope you enjoy!
I'm tuned down to Eb and even then I had to lower the backing by 10 cents (probably due to broadcasting anomalies from the original source).

I use a Charvel DK24 (it's purple) into a Boss Me50 into a Palmer Pdi-09 into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X.

Ride out solo is awesome! Maybe unpopular opinion but I think that Viv is the e best all around guitarist Leppard has ever had.
Steve was very unique and his writing will always be missed; however, I agree with you. Vivs talent is undeniable.
@@rugdnit911 massive Steve Clark fan also but Viv on things like the extended solo on live Love Bites in Don Valley and the Wings of an Angel solo, ….incredible, possibly my favorite Def Leppard moments.
@@timfortune5326 Me too- Massive Steve Fan. That said what Viv brings to the table- check out his Love Bites Live Monterrey Mexico outro solo. I got to ask him about that one if he had worked any of that out prior. He said he was just in the moment and ran with it. Damn- I’d love to have that kind of command of my instrument. His playing can take you on a roller coaster of emotion. That is magic.

Excellent cover! Viv is so much more melodic than Collen is. Phill is always attacking and doing fast runs, Viv makes soloing completely effortless. Top job!

I’ve always loved Vivs guitar prowess and always felt it was under-employed in Leppard. Lead work aside after seeing them at Wembley this year he’s a monster rhythm player as well

Great work, is there anywhere we can get your settings for the ME50, I currently have on in storage and would like to experiment with these tones
I did a stream a few years ago going over my set up and how to achieve a similar sound. It's still viewable on my channel called 'how to achieve a Def Lep tone' or something like that.
@@bwm5150 thanks, will find it tonight, I’d really love to be able to use the ME50 more. Currently using an HX stomp and Katana MK2 but for some reason I really want to make the ME50 the primary sound source, your tones from it are excellent
