I’m the moment he got caught it looked like he started to panick going for the clinch then it turned into a slugfest and in that moment where I was thinking man Bud has to be careful after a flurry from both he used his range while Gamboa tried to come in and stepped into a BEAUTIFUL uppercut!
Gamboa had a ton of heart and pride.
Cubans will fight anybody.
Saw it live. This was one barnburner of a fight!
TF in the Backwood country is a barnburner??🤣
@@MyDOOKIE1 you ever figure it out 😂
Gamboa has my respect. I like to see him versus Loma.
Gamboa is about the quickest fighter I've seen. He has unbelievable reflexes, he must have smashing the guys at 126. He came up 2 weights for this fight, Bud was too long and too big for him overall, but Gamboa didn't embarrass himself. Before he hurt Crawford in the 9th, he must have landed 80 or 90 good punches. When Crawford got loosened up, they had some wild exchanges. Gamboa kept getting caught because of arm length and Crawfords skills. I think Gamboa gave Crawford about as good a fight as anyone.
This fight happened in 2014 If you here comparing this to him in 2022 you are a 🤡
💯
I mean it’s nice still no lie
He got tagged early in that last round l. Spence will Finnish him!
@@cohenfitness That's your fight prediction ? lol Stick to fitness boxing is not for you this is 8 years ago spence was still fighting absolute bums with 10 losses on they resume when this the fight of the year was happening.. comparing it to a more recent fight would make more sense it would actually make you seem like you onto something.
@@cohenfitness Spence not doing shit that's all u mfs banking on hoping on and it ain't happening
Gamboa got mad heart
Crawford was definitely hurt in the 9th round @the 2:16 mark....the announcer tried to deny it....lol
I went to 2:16 but thats the beginning of the fight
@@oBlvd lmao
Nobody get up more times or faster than Gamboa‼️
LMAO..
@@LifesLessons100 lol Aye Buddy deserves a whole accolade for this accomplishment 😂
@@89skeezy He was a good boxer at one point.. Never flourished into his true potential but a good career never the less. Fought world class boxers
@@LifesLessons100 Gamboa was definitely dope during his prime! I think his greatest strength (athleticism) became his biggest flaw because he have a lot of holes in his defense because he's not technically sound. lol He never had to be that when he could just dodge everything.
He definitely fought nothing but World Champions but that's because of his losses. He turned into a gate keeper/measuring stick for all greatest prospects and top fighters like Shawn Porter...
That doesn't takes away from who he was but I definitely understand it..
@@89skeezy 💯💯💯 All FACTS I agree
Man gamboa fought some crazy good fighters over the years. Gotta give credit to a guy who always fights top competition
Respect even gambao got beaten he still fighting unlike some boxer ..
At 29:26 " Did he get hit with something?" "No no, he just switched. Yea right. Crawford got hit with a right hand then backed TF up!

He put both feet on queer street for just a sec....

The chin on Gamboa is wild 🔥🔥🔥
Great fight! Great performance by Bud Crawford! Gamboa had heart though. He got knocked down and kept getting up...a true warrior.
Not many boxers no how too use their reach too their Advantage * Terrence is a Pro. At IT 🥊💪🏾👑
Bro that uppercut at 31:29 almost puts tears in my eyes...
It was the nail in the coffin
I love how you can almost always hear Momma Deb yelling above the rest of the crowd
This was a good fight.
Ok.
Both were very hittable.
may i ask how?

All these guys you say are the best. I only see one guy knocking people out tank davis is the main event folks
Until today Bud says this was his hardest fight to date.. The upper cut was simply perfection....

Can’t take nothing away from Gamboa the man has a chin 🥊💪🏾
Does he ever have a chin
But if only Gamboa was more defensively responsible.

I’d take Gamboa as a ride or die just like tank. Gamboa went through the gauntlet of death his last 3 fights and fought hard. Bro even fought Crawford. He has heart of a champion

Don't get it twisted, Bud was hurt in this fight. Gamboa landed a 2-piece that I believe the left hand did more damage. After the exchange Crawford was visibly hurt. Moving in a way unusual for him. I ain't trippin though my man has a chin! 29:20
U aint lyn fam at least 1 full min, gamboa didnt finish he gave bud time
Great fight. Yuriorkis Gamboa has heart!
But if only Gamboa was more defensively responsible.
I have watched 4 fights of TBC today!! He's so freaking awesome!! And, I've seen them already!! 😂❤ He is so good!!!!!!!
Great fight, love watching Bud brawl with those high skills.
T Crawford special… just that rare gift
Crawford was getting beat the first 4 honestly. If Gamboa was more composed, he might have been able to get a knockdown later
I'm only disagreeing with you because I've watched Crawford most of his career and your right about the first statement but This young man plays Chess in the ring. Gamboa was/is an excellent fighter but this was the spider vs the fly. As soon as Gamboa started lunging, he got countered hard. Throughout Crawford's career I've only seen him off balanced twice. His defense is underrated.
Rennard Henry he got rocked in this fight
BY A LITTLE MAN.
Crawford's always vulnerable first 4 rounds, but once he gets a rhythm and makes the adjustment mfers getting hurt
@PrisonCipher Gamboa has been knocked down around 30 times in his career I believe. Even in his wins he gets knocked down. He's just chinny as hell.
Larry Merchant "I know officials don't score even rounds, but I do" 😅 Derp!!
Crawfords foul protector was going all the way up to his chest 😂
Ayooooo! 😂😂😂
Fho real 😂🤣
Gamboa truly a fighter!
Gamboa does have our respect
But if only Gamboa was more defensively responsible.
Tyson is still a legend. There is no fighter out there who holds the skill the great legend had.He could knock you on the ribs and as you get confused,he would deliver a killer punch just below the chin.I have never seen this with our current boxers!
The announcers were so biased up until the knockdown in the 5th 😂
Gamboa's speed and footwork were overwhelming Crawford. I can see why Gamboa gets so much respect. He's a warrior 🪖
@@ScoobiSnackitivisthow did crawford win if he was the one being overwhelmed?
Awesome battle! Action packed!!
Drives me absolutely crazy you guys put all kinds of crap in the description except listing the date of the actual fight SMGDH!!
Indeed...
Very poor captioning
One of the greatest fights
Crawford got stunned @29:22
Yes he did
Old commentary " No no he switched " 😅
Way to Go Crawford !! But I gotta give Gamboa his props, he never gave up and kept coming for Crawford. He has the heart of a Lion Big Ups to lil man !!
Zebi 123 viva algerie
29:21 Crawford got hurt indeed, right hook
I'm not Cuban, but damn Gamboa had amazing footwork and speed. If his chin was more resistant which we know isn't true he'd be a beast... his ducking reflexes were insane!
he has a good chin and is brave, just a former 9 stone champ and too much of a step up
(He's a true champ very under rated)
one thing about gamboa he is tuff as guts and has the most heart
Crawford was willing to take a punch to deliver 3 or 4 that would put his opponent down. He did it repeatedly.
Ya hace un tiempo de esta pelea realmente gamboa te felicito te fajaste de campana a campana peleaste bien.el tipo es tremendo marrullero pero hay que reconocer que tiene tremenda pegada. Pero me gusto el papel de gamboa
Gamboa has my respect!!

The upper cut was simply perfection...
Beautiful boxing from both fighters.
29:24 🤣🤣 rocked Crawford
Commentators failed to mention Gamboa (126 lbs) fought TC at 135! all praises LOL.
Also the reach advantage was huge.
Cómo se extrañan esas peleas
They talk shit about Bud "switch hitting", he starts pummeling Gamboa from the left, then all of a sudden, he's "ambidextrous" and it was a good idea all along... Fair weather announcers 🙄🤐
16:33 listen to the crowd..
Great great crowd..
Thats one thing about the state of Nebraska that always seems to surprise visitors. However, when ur from Nebraska, u know that whether it’s Husker football, volleyball or a Crawford fight. The crowd will be rocking and extremely loud. We take pride in showing our support for our own in this state!
Bud been showing us he was great…his tool box is very deep and extra sharp! Reason he’s one of the greatest to ever box!
I am a big time Crawford fan but I just think errol is a different animal in that square circle.
Gamboa was Undefeated when he fought Crawford. When was last time Spence fought an unbeaten fighter.. besides Mickey who moved up 4weight divisions who Spence fight that was Undefeated????
You were never a fan
@@claytonwilson5354 that’s the most irrelevant argument ever. All this “undefeated meaning something” nonsense is new in the sport because careers are now tailored to make boxers seem elite by not having them fight real threats early on. Spence fought all of the best in his division, undefeated or not. Pac-Man and Floyd had the potential to be one of the biggest fights in boxing history if it didn’t take 5-6 years to get them in the ring and Pac-Man was NOT undefeated even at that time.
@@claytonwilson5354 Undefeated?! Wtf
@@claytonwilson5354 Mike Garcia moved up one weight class casual and didn't win a Rd against EJ but gambao who was literally coming up 2 weight classes and hurt bud and actually won rds 🤣🤣🙏🙏
Spence/Crawford will remind us old timers of the 70's/80's. My birthday is in October....
Oh, I forgot. Crawfish was out-boxed by the shorter Gamboa early before he imposed his size and took over in the end.
Its not just his size, he actually change the strategy, there are very good videos about the breakdown of this fight and how TC boxing iq is soooo good.
still can't deny the fact that size was a big factor.
Crawford just figured him out then walk him down😜
Gamboa loves the quick left hook right hand combination, Crawford turned southpaw to counter that left hook with his own southpaw lead right hook.
The moment you realize Gamboa outweighs Crawford
