I have a Coach Swagger 27 with quilting and rivets. It may be my favorite bag! It has a strap and its organization is perfect. At some point, a lot of the design elements become pretty general and I don’t necessarily think of a design element in a less popular bag as making the bag a copy of a more popular bag. The Swagger’s handles can fold down, it has a large front and back compartment in addition to its main compartment, it’s much more rectangular than a Birkin, and it has a strap. It just shares two handles and (faux) sangles with a Birkin. Anyway, lovely video, as always.
yess the swagger bag is amazing! I had the mini one! it was one of my first "fancier" bags! I wish I didnt sell it when i started buying Chanel!
The reason why I buy only classic pieces is bc i don't think these luxury brands are worth anything at all. At least I don't lose so much money buying classic pieces, or look timeless for decades. I am never paying for LV leather bags. Rather get an older Hermes birkin

I never heard of the Millisime leather. These bags are beautiful.
I saw their new Lockit in Taurillon leather in the Earth color. To die for. I was looking for a Garden Party tote but this LV bag is so much more. Pricey, but gorgeous. About to oull the trigger.
I love LV leather . I have different types of leather from them and that Hermes Birkin style bag looks really nice. I don't know if I would get it tho because it does look like a dupe for something so famous.
If the Birkin and the Garden Party had a baby... and LV kidnapped it!

I'm so tired of so many versions of classic Hermes bags. LV, YSL, even Celine (tried to create their own "Kelly" with their 16 bag) and many other brands cannot understand that being a creator is much better than a moderator... Disappointing and frustrating.

Your Aline bag has beautiful leather, it looks gorgeous. The Millesime leather looks so good too but LV needed to lot more effort into the style. I think it looks like a Garden Party with sangles as decoration. There’s definitely room in the market for more exclusive leathers to be used because they are what make it luxurious. Those are quite large bags. Probably not in my price bracket though for a bag.
hahha yes...i do prefer the look of a birkin over this. The non functional flap stuck on the front looks a little random

I would like Louis Vuitton to make a leather handbag version based on the steamer bag. The have a enough of a back catalogue to base new designs. All these over fussy birkin inspired bags lack the simplicity to become a classic.
No matter what names they call leather there is no better than full grain cowhide
Save up and buy the Birkin!

there’s nothing like the birkin but among the birkin-like totes i like the ysl sac du jour and mulberry alexa best. the LV one not my favorite. that said the alma is on par in my mind as pretty as the bolide.
There is nothing better than Hermes birkin. U lose money in the resale market if u sell the bag from ANY brand, with BirKin u make money sometimes even over 100% profit. Plus of course nothing can come close to the quality and impeccable craftsmanship u get from Hermes.

I'm not even mad that LV are taking notes from Hermes. I'm more mad that it's kind of boring and it's not what I like LV for. Like I love when they do quiet stuff as much as the louder designs but even their quiet is usually distinct. This is just uninspired design IMO.
