    As another TNA faithful who has been a fan since 2004 say that i do understand the new look.if TNA wants to get attention and be taken serious the main thing was to have a traditional 4 sided ring and a entrance ramp that actually looks appealing

    i think ric flair moving to TNA is the most significant switch, ric flair became an absolute wwe man, that he switched is increadible and shows that TNA will be the place for the future, similar to tazz, he left so suddenly

    Agreed and giving him a flair rub is a good idea. I think a heel AJ will make him more noticable. He was kinda week as a face champ since he was a face so long and his fueds were always neutral with Angle and Sting, and the Joe/Daniels fued was short lived.. this NEW idea for him with flair has legs to last a while. Fliar + AJ = GOLD!

  • @FargoJ02
    @FargoJ02 14 років тому +1

    I completely agree with you Fma42081, AJ doesn't needs to be under anyone's wing, much less be the next Flair or the next whoever, like you said, he's in a league of his own, and that's what makes him phenomenal.

  • @Self_Supremacy
    @Self_Supremacy 9 років тому +39

    Aj styles didn't need flair or this gimmick. Aj styles should have been the man on his own accord.

    • @Voysh2Voysh69
      @Voysh2Voysh69 6 років тому +4

      ReaperOnYourSix AJ had been the man for years before this moment. He had defeated Jeff Jarrett, who had put himself over everyone else many times, and Styles had won some of the greatest matches in TNA history. Styles’ alliance with Flair, and the formation of a new Four Horsemen, helped add a new layer to Styles’ character. AJ’s mic work became much improved during this time.

    • @johngillespie4231
      @johngillespie4231 6 років тому

      After AJ had been in the shadow of Christian Cage, Kurt Angle, and Sting, he didn't need to be in Ric Flair's.

    • @Dud512
      @Dud512 4 роки тому

      According to Hogan at that time(his words not mine) he felt AJ needed to be more "full" of himself. He also called Abyss his John Cena. That's why when he debuted they worked with each other

  • @CommanderSqueaks
    @CommanderSqueaks 14 років тому

    The thing with Ric is, he's still functioning. I don't know how he does it, but there's a reason Ric is still in the business and was wrestling up until relatively recently. That man has a longevity that is beyond compare.

    yeah i totally agree with you. the new TNA is finally taking a huge leap. I like the fact that Flair is helping AJ Styles become more recognizable becasue honestly, besides the wrestling fans and wrestling community not many people know who the hell AJ Styles is. And that's coming from a AJ Styles fan.

    something i am worried about, because i have already noticed it just from watching this promo, is that the aj-flair thing is gonna be exactly the same as the triple h-flair thing in evolution. It seems like its literally the exact type of deal. thats not necessarily bad, but some of the stuff they do as heels might make aj look weak. thats why i dont generally like turning a really over face heel if he is gonna look weak. but maybe he'll be just as good as he was as a heel in previous times

    It's called being a heel and face. AJ used to be a face, but turned into a heel. Kurt was the top heel and is now a/the top face. They basically just switched spots. Both are still the best 2 wrestlers in the business today.
