@@Stance-Ill First, It's not similar, it's identical on the second phrase. The basses may be a little different but the rhythmical pattern is exactly the same.
Second, they are totally allowed to do whatever they want and it's not necessarily a bad thing as there are no rules for that, but coming from such talented artists I would expect a little more innovation. That's all.

Hmm I'm usually a big fan of Koven but I'm a bit disappointed. It's really short, Katie's voice has much more to offer and usually her lyrics are insanely well written. I often think her lyrics are almost like poetry but this sounds very generic...and someone said it sounds like "Basstripper - Ghosting you love" and I have to agree. This sounds very very similar. I had high expectations - especially from A.M.C. - because he always gets one prize after the other in the drum and bass awards. I hope they make another try because Koven and A.M.C. are talented even tho this is not the best example for it imo.
It wasn’t suppose to be a deep, emotional track. We wanted it to be a flip on that and write something fun for the shows. Kind of the point when working with another artist you try something different. Otherwise what’s the point. Koven tracks sound like Koven tracks, the way they are written, performed ect and we have LOADS of them to come and loads already out. We just wanted to do something abit fun with this one.

I'm a massive fan of Koven and I don't wanna be rude but what a disappointment this track is. Koven says they wanted to do something different and just have fun, meanwhile I have never heard Katie's vocal to be so flat and boring before and the drop is like copy/paste of Ghosting Your Love by Basstripper. If two newbies do this, I'm ok, but Koven and A.M.C.?
