Thanks! You are saving me hours of guesswork on both object ball and cue ball movement. I still have to learn myself, but knowing where to start is huge.
Awesome lessons on the art of pool/ love how you break it down and put it in actual practice! I can't thank-you enough Big Al- glad I started watching ya/ will continue to do so in the future! good day ROCKY
Thats worth a sub, great breakdown. How did you hit the leap frog bank on the 3? I wish I had your brain to pick while practicing. So many little edge cases.
@@BigAlsBilliards asking because I always felt mine were a little high I played one table at a hall and it’s cushions were like 1/4” lower than mine then another table they had was higher but still lower than mine. They say between 1-3/8” to 1-7/16”. I’m re- felting & tightening my pockets and gonna lower the edge of my cushions some. Thx.
@@tomburns890 Don't think you can "lower the edge". The edge is part of the cushion/rails. It's triangular, with the 3rd corner edge being the cushion. You can replace the rails altogether, but doubt you can alter the ones you have. There are two basic types. K66 & K55 66 is for pool 55 is for Billiards 55 are 1/8" higher and 1/4" wider. Just be sure to get 66 😁
the reason it wont go down table is the top spin is killing it off the rail. Just using right will spin it down behind the 8. That old adage draw for show follow for dough is merely an axiom for follow is more predictable than draw. The reality is both are fairly unprecise at anything other than a fairly full ball hit. I tell my guys all the time I can make shots that many would think are low percentage but the leave is almost as important as making the ball. You might be able to shoot the lights out but can't run out a simple rack... why? because your leaves just aren't that good.
Just about all I have learned in life I learned from someone else. Thank You Al
Easier to learn from others than your own mistakes.
But, both are practical ways of learning and most importantly, correcting. 😁

Well that's a great lesson on what is going to happen when you get rid of wrong ideas. You have more fun and get more consistent. Thanks AL.❤
Thank you

Thank you 😁
Good video and some great shots. What height do cushion edges measure from the slate? 1-7/16” or less? Thx.
I'm not 100% sure tbh.

So, not hard, but not soft hit?
@@shader26 On some of them, yes.
But, if you really want to bend those ones down the rail, they need to be hard, with lots of juice. 😁
Don’t show them all our secrets! 😜
