Your enthusiasm is contagious. Cockle burrs are a pain in the arse, however I have a new understanding and appreciation for this sweet plant. Thank you.

Such valuable information. Until seeing this video I cursed the burdock because it “spoiled” my landscape. NOW I know better.
I’m excited to encourage its growth and partake in its abundant health benefits. Wow!

I've had fresh burdock root,as well as the fresh young leaves. I almost feel like the leaves are more astringent and medicinal. I 💚 burdock. I collect and share the seeds

burdock root tastes Great.. i look forward to my spring harvest every year... I have to dig deep to harvest ..sso i harvest when its raining.. wet soil makes it easier and I use those holes i make to grow even more food. its one of the easiest plants to identify.. I dont see how anyone could ever mistake identity

Those looked like Rhubarbs to me when I was younger.
One day i was so eager to eat some.
And as soon i chomp into it, the only thing my face could show was Being totally flabbergasted and disappointed bc it didn't at all tasted like Rhubarb 😂
But glad it is edible and not Toxic or Poisonous 😂

Remember it’s not legal in the UK to go around uprooting plants so ask permission of the landowner or don’t get caught!
    Great video as always.
    Enjoy the wonderful book, everyone!

Thank you so much for all of your videos. I teach a bunch of kids herbal skills. I always love to hear about your folklore to tell my group. They range in age from four years old to 13 years old. I would love to get your book. My group is called Heathers hippies wilderness club and I have 24 children in it. I teach them for free. I am always watching to hear your twist and poems. Thank you so much. Do you have a link where I can purchase your book.? Thank you again.

Hmm, I'd bet that that "burr suit" would protect a man from wild animal attack. You might get bitten once, but then you could run away, while the offending animal was choked with burrs!
