The year is 2034. Matt, the undefeated Boxing and Swordplay legend, has just announced his retirement. As he looks back to everything he's done.. This music plays, softly, in the background as he relinquishes his titles.
“Too early to travel the stars, too late to discover the world....but I was just in time for this...God had bought me to this era for a reason, and I’ve found that reason”
My childhood, turned to meme, turned back into my childhood in such a beautiful rebirth. Thank you so much, I honestly cannot put my thoughts into true words.
Ok, memes aside, this is truly a work of Art. I mean, you have memers, trying to be funny. You have meme remixers, the guys who do dumb s*** with music and make it funny. Then there is you: The sole reason why I believe there is still hope in the world. A joke, but it is actually a really good song.
This is the song that would play in a story about the Miis leaving the island and Wii/Wii U and going to the Switch for a new life but leaving their old one behind at the island or something
For me its actually really sad because its like we're saying goodbye to an era, and now that I'm in highschool it feels like I'm leaving a lot of things behind.
I'm gonna cry, this was my childhood, a great meme too. This is just so beautifully put together. You my man, deserve a sub. A massive, great job to you.
People here are wondering why this is so good, but why? This song is so good because...its Wii Sports. The game that made us somewhat athletic. The game that made us feel proud to accomplish something when no one else cared about us. This game will forever live inside of us, as the Wii console isnt just a console, but a part of our family. A gift. A piece of art. And that is why we shall never forget the many wonderful memories that it has given us. Yes, this marks the end of the Wii shop, the games, and the Wii itself, but will it ever die? No. Because we wont let it. We will protect our childhood for the rest of our lives, so our children's children can experience the feeling of beating Matt in boxing, beating Elisa in tennis, beating Sakura in baseball, etc. We love you, Wii Sports, you will forever live in our hearts ❤️❤️❤️
Why wii sports was just so good. It was a game where anyone could play it, young kid, teenager, brother or sister, mother or father, grandpa or grandma. It was a such an easy game to pick up and play, but sometimes you didn’t just play wii sports with your family, your were really making memories you’ll remember forever. My mom never played video games other then the Tetris game on the NES, but she understood, and liked to play Wii bowling with me and my brother, and even my dad played. Wii sports wasn’t just a game, it was a genius way to gather your family and spend time with them, have fun, and laugh. Still to this day when I’m feeling nostalgia and pick up a wii remote, those memories playing wii bowling with my family hit me like a ton of bricks. I’ll always love and remember wii sports, honestly the best memories I have playing video games R.I.P Mom, I love you
The year is 2043. A young man, named Alex, has just found his battered old wii system, lost for years in his broken home. He starts to have memories of the games he played. Mario galaxy. Kirby's Epic Yarn. And the Wii Sports series. He chooses to relive those memories and brings the damaged system home, and gets to work on the repairs. Replacing the battered plastic, rewiring the damaged insides, and repainting the shell to be a nice vibrant blue. Like the ocean. But, when he powers it on, something is afoot. The wii menu, is rusted. The usually calm background audio is replaced with a dark groan. He looks at the wii sports resort channel in the top left corner, and to his horror, he sees it in shambles. The sky is dark and gloomy. The sun is nowhere to be found. And on the screen, the words HELP US is to be found where the main logo should be. He clicks A on his wiimote, and blacks out. When he comes to, he awakens on a beach, not one of sand, but rather, of stones. He groans in pain and clutches his head as he sits up. In the distance, a figure is to be seen approaching. As the shadow comes nearer, Alex realizes who it is. Matt. The Boxing champion of Mii City. Respected. And renowned for his talent. But he is battered and scarred. Wounds litter his body. He stumbles and falls onto the ground, cutting his arm on a jagged stone. This is not the world that Alex left many years ago. It's time to discover what has happened to this world, and set it right for the future. (This actually could work someday, if we can get some imported Mii's and create good animations on a high quality engine. Maybe snag what Pixar uses.)

The final Miis walked into the back of the plane, their eyes fille with tears as they departed Wuhu Island. The Miis pleaded with the government to let them stay, but after Nintendo's supreme leader, Shigeru Miyamoto declined their offer, the Miis were forced to leave the island and go to the Switch. Suddenly, Boxing, Tennis, and Swordplay legend Matt shouted "Wii are Mii! Wii are Mii! Wii are Mii! Wii must never give up! Wuhu is our home, Wii can't leave! Wii are Mii, and Wii are STRONG!" "Wii are Mii! Wii are Mii!" chanted the crowd, grabbing their old equipment from when they were young. The Baseball Miis rose up and shouted "Wii are Mii!!" and charged down the aisle batting down every single Nintendo employee in sight. The plane shook violently. The air sports Miis rushed to the cockpit and managed to turn the plane around, back toward Wuhu Island. "Wii will return home and stay home because WII ARE MII!" shouted Matt. A second group of Nintendo planes approach, only to find thousands of Miis, ready to fight. "WII ARE MII!" chanted the Miis, hitting baseballs left and right, as the airsports Miis tried to strike the Nintendo planes down. This enraged the Nintendo planes, who were told to destroy all the landmarks and sacred places to all of Miikind. But, one pilot had an idea. They would pretend to lead the Nintendo planes into Maka Wuhu, a fierce volcano that many Mii considered sacred. The Mii pilot flew straight into the top of Maka Wuhu, flying just inches above the bubbling lava. The Nintendo fleet followed behind the Mii, thinking he was one of their own, however, the Nintendo pilots had never flown through Maka Wuhu, and met a fiery end in the volcano. The rest of the Miis were overjoyed, and celebrated the pilot. As the crowd chanted "Wii are Mii! Wii are Mii!" Matt rose on top of the remnants of the Swordplay arena and shouted "Now let's get back to work rebuilding our home. Wii must return it to its old glory. Wii will do this because Wii are Mii and Wii won't give up!" They started rebuilding the entire island, from Wuhu Town to the lighthouse, from the cycling trails to the Swordplay arena, and after many months of hard work, Matt, the president of Wuhu Island announced, "After a fierce battle, Wii came out on top. After our home was destroyed, Wii rebuilt it. And now I stand here to say "Wii did it! The homes of you and Mii, rebuilt! Wii are Mii!" The Miis went back to their normal life, playing frisbee dog on the beach, biking up Maka Wuhu, and going 100 pin bowling down in Wuhu Town. The End...
I was born a year after the wii came out. My cousins had it. I saved up for months to get my own. Finally got it aged 9 with birthday money. it came with a wii sports cardbord sleeve with wii sports and wii sports resort. I loved it so much. And although I may be too young to be nostalgic for when it came out, no- one is too young to make memories with this console.
The story follows Matt Young, a former Wuhu Island Games champion who was disqualified for something he didnt do, then one day as he is working at the local pizza place a young mii comes in and immediately recognizes the former champion, the mii asks Matt to train him to which Matt accepts,he teaches the young mii everything he knows, but when the games begin a mysterious figure tries to stop the games from happening, Matt is nowhere to be found, the fate of the games is all in the hands of that young mii,who will prevail? Wii sports movie idea
It’s been over a decade since the player has dethroned Matt.... but a new challenger arrives.... it’s Player 2. They ask for help with training, and Matt knew. This was his chance. He grabbed his gloves and his bright orange shirt, and in about a week, Player 2 was ready to take on Player. They step into the ring and fight, they keep knocking each other out, but they keep rising. suddenly, Player 2 gets knocked out for good. He steps out of the ring and tells Matt to fight. he’s scared, but he knows he can fight. he knows he can beat Player. he’s the one who trained him. he knows all his moves. Matt beats the crap out of Player, and wins. He did it, he’s back at the top.... but a new challenger arrives.... Player 3....
This hit me hard..............my first game I ever played.thanks for bringing out my love for gaming.the wii will have a special place in are hearts for all of us
Some time in the future: One of the *greatest* athlete the world had ever seen, with *uncountable* awards and medals won over his past years; a *legend* among the sport community, and a *hero* to young ones who wants to be like him; someone, who has simply dedicated all of his life to *challenge* the others in races, but more so wanted to *prove himself* his worth, decides to _retire_ from the competitions. His last words as an astounding, ever-so famous athlete would be *remembered* in years to come, *generations* would listen to his touching speech and be all filled with *determination.* After this last announcement on public medias, he goes back to the house he grew up as a kid. He didn't come to that house since forever, always traveling around the world, and especially since his parents passed away. The conditions of the house are really bad, though it is still recognizable in its interiors and furnitures. Passing from a room to another, it finally decides to climb up the stairs to the attic, were old, dusty boxes, full of mementos and memories, lie. One in particular, though, attracts its attention: an open one, with a white, rectangular, plastic box sticking out, alongside some CD cases. He reaches for that box, finds a remote and some spare batteries to insert in. It takes him a moment to grab that remote, press the 'A' button, and grab altogether the case for a game he used to play the most. As the remote still, barely, blinks pulses of blue, a smile forms on the face of this retired champion. A tear, slide down the cheeks of the hero. That tear fall rightly on the case he had in its hand, which recites the words he used to look over a long while ago, and that started its journey as young, inspired mind: *W i i S p o r t s*
Once upon a time, there was a man. His name was Matt. He was the best boxer and sword master ever. Everyone tried to beat him, but anly a few succeded. He made us learn the definition of bravery, how to never stop our training, become the best person we could be and not the best battler. He was an example for us. I don't say he was a good man, I say he was the best. Sometimes I cry thinking about him. I miss him.

it came with a wii sports cardbord sleeve with wii sports and wii sports resort. I loved it so much. And although I may be too young to be nostalgic for when it came out, no- one is too young to make memories with this console.
This is art.
Wow . . who knew a meme could be so bootiful . . .

I first listened to this song years ago...
I still have no clue what to say.
I'm surprised I could bring myself to comment at all.
Bravo.
Used your awesome sweeping song in our new video about Wii Fit Trainer. Props. This is so chillingly good.

wow this was so powerful it made me put my wii remote down on a surface that wasn't flat
Some time in the future:
One of the *greatest* athlete the world had ever seen, with *uncountable* awards and medals won over his past years; a *legend* among the sport community, and a *hero* to young ones who wants to be like him; someone, who has simply dedicated all of his life to *challenge* the others in races, but more so wanted to *prove himself* his worth,
decides to _retire_ from the competitions.
His last words as an astounding, ever-so famous athlete would be *remembered* in years to come, *generations* would listen to his touching speech and be all filled with *determination.*
After this last announcement on public medias, he goes back to the house he grew up as a kid.
That tear fall rightly on the case he had in its hand, which recites the words he used to look over a long while ago, and that started its journey as young, inspired mind:

HEART... CAN'T COPE... WITH... NOSTALGIA
Petition this for end song of Tokyo 2020 Olympics
I strongly agree
sadly it will be hosted on 2021
It's like finding a piece of childhood again. Masterfully done.
This made me cry in happiness
Once upon a time, there was a man.
His name was Matt.
He was the best boxer and sword master ever.
Everyone tried to beat him, but anly a few succeded.
He made us learn the definition of bravery,
how to never stop our training,
become the best person we could be and not the best battler.
He was an example for us.
I don't say he was a good man, I say he was the best.
Sometimes I cry thinking about him.
I miss him.
I instantly like when I see an orchestral cover of gaming music because it's both good and hard to find
This reminds me of the good times
That's a nice calming remix.
I cried 50 seconds in. nooooo
This sounds like the end of a really good show
This actually put me at peace after shop channel closed down... woah
I need this song in a wii 2 with wii sports 2 in a future
This will definitely be played at my funeral.
POV: the credits theme once you beat all champions, and get all platimums, and get a perfect game and hole in one
This video reminds me of the swing I did. The time I got my first home run. The promise Wii held. Nintendo has forgot that but I remeber . Thank you
