This is HDR footage recorded in game version 37.0.3. I expect they will fix the "Mount Atomicylce" typo before the official release. Note that the enemies have a pink outline due to my accessibility settings.

don't the infestation have a hive mind? but it's the human grineers that have eximus so I don't understand how they got their hands on the infestation and harness its power
@@felfuri2246All factions have eximus, which was probably explained in old lore I never found, but maybe some explanation like Albrect's shenanigans causing more stuff to spill over from out verse. Also, the once awake quests explains the grineer found what I think was dormant infested and experimented on it, but then caused it to reawaken and put the system into a galaxy wide plague zone again
Edit: Also, pretty sure the faction you fight in the quest is their own tying. Unless they use their own infested units to fight the infested which wouldn't make too much since considering they're covered in anti infested acid
@@RandomName2.0 There isn't really any lore at the moment for what eximus enemies are exactly. Other than what can be inferred from the Jade Shadows event (they are something that can be deliberately created and even mass produced with the proper resources), the only actual statement from the devs is that they are "Built Different".
Also, the name of the human faction in 1999 is SCALDRA, and it's already been confirmed that Warframe 1999 _is_ the actual past of the main game. We aren't travelling to a different universe, we're going into the past and overwriting it.
@@thegrouchization OH sorry used to saying verse lol. Shame for eximus though, could probably have interesting lore. Fought a lich who even brings them up in dialogue and gets scared if you beat them so at least kind of confirmed they were created unit super soldiers somehow. Might be mistaking it for something else, but think in the past there was a limited time event to introduce them like with some other units such as infested moas
Lol so the demo is technically already in the game but they just haven't made it accessible from the regular menu, i'm not gonna watch the whole video yet just to enjoy it on the official release 😂

it's not finished though, there's supposed to be a thing saying "demo complete" at the end of the demo which isn't there.

Wait is Höllvania a tileset and not an open world?
It looks like it's an open world but on the map is looks like it has sections like a normal tileset. Sorta like the bigass Spacehip that's parked in the void we go to for Incarnon stuff and the secret Labs in the gross planet
Yeah, it does look like a new tileset right now. I guess we'll have to see when WF1999 officially drops, tho.
I'm guessing it's to be exactly like the Sanctum Anatomica, with one big hub world, and a semi-open world with multiple nodes, just on a BIG tileset.
they seems to use tiles to piece together a sort of open world. probably makes it easier on performance.
given how much more details there are compared to something like plains or the vallis

Looks like the Vesper has a really high headshot multiplier.
Everything seems to die really fast to headshots even with other weapons.
Coupled with the abnormally high recoil AX has, I think it's intended that all the enemies in 1999 are much weaker to headshots.
Probably for a lore reason, as they're more normal humans with older equipment, so no super durable space helmets or thicker bio-engineered skulls.
Just regular people wearing equipment that is only slightly better than regular military of that time fighting an unmodded space ninja that has no help of a void demon.
@@ewg5511 it would make sense for the AX to deal more headshot damage if you recall its special effect. Maybe it's the enemies, maybe it's the weapons, we'll find out next week 😃
@@damienhine1861 Probably the AX since that shit has more crit chance with headshots.

have you tried getting onto the rooftops of the buildings?i wanna see if it's an actual open world or if there's an invisible barrier up there
It's a tileset.
The buildings at the edge of the tile don't have a roof and there's an invisible wall preventing you from getting on top of them.
Honestly I can see it having proper open world in the future, like another whole district where you could jump on buildings, join races, maybe even be able to enter few (or more) buildings, etc...
Making this would probably take as long as all of 1999 tilesets combined tho, so I can't really blame DE they went with usual missions first 😅

Whats wrong with zariman its a tileset with unique nodes and a faction that is easy as piss to level up and very rewarding to do so
@@delcaprascalar1860 i agree. 1999 should have its own weapon and modding system. like being its own dimension with new rules and battle style. zariman and entrati are like extensions to the existing star-chart gameplay, so its nothing game breaking or revolutionary
