I clicked on this. Not remembering what it was, and when I did I heard the first like, and went into tears. Too many memories of sitting around here and hearing this.
When I want to be alone in Wow I go to the very edge of Winterspring, there you can find a chair...just sitting there and look out over the world and listening to this music brings flashbacks. It's those moments I'll to find the very nostalgic feeling I had about over 4 years ago..but I still go to that place and enjoy the loneliness every time *smiles*
The best way that I can describe this music is that it sounds like the calm, cold embrace of a starry winter's night. How lovely it would be to go to such a grandeur place, where you could feel as if this same music should play there. I love this music,
So many memories... Dwarf Paladin. Chills running down my spine from this very track. Those Frostmane Trolls. Anvilmar. Wendigos. Thunderbrew. Frostmane Hold. Brother asleep, playing late at night in the WInter. Gah... brings a tear to me eye :')
Those opening notes made levelling in Loch modan not just a waste of time for me, but a true experience as a real adventurer in a vast and unexplored world.
I love listening to this while flying over Dun Morogh at night. Also, it plays in Shadowmoon Valley, in Moonwillow peak, atop of Twilight Glade. (Draenor). It plays at night too, because it's a mountain. :D I like it so much. Beautiful music.
The begening is sooo beautiful. It reminds me of moment when i was playing in winterspring, and just when I got to lvl60 that music started. The best moment I had in the game:)
Indeed! I get the chills everytime I hear this one, reminds me of so many memories from WoW. Sometimes I wish I had recorded all my playtime on all my characters.
My first character was a dwarf hunter I made on my bros account....Remember logging in the first time seeing all those races and classes? Having only the slightest clue why you would want to pick one or the other. After 10-20 mins pass you finally think youve found something that feels right. Then you click create and if you were like me this song or maby another starting area song was your first taste of the WoW atmosphere that would set you on your adventure that would last thousands of hours
Al. C. thats what I'm saying. I started late vanilla early TBC. this reminds me of my late nights in winter spring. being chased by yetis and moonkins while getting ambushed by bear people going to everlook
Those memories are starting to come back to me too. I really miss the good times. I miss the friends I have and the friends that were once around then disappeared for no reason. Depressing stuff :(
I remember fishing in the lake in Dun Morogh when I first started playing this game years ago. It was at night and I was just fishing on the little boat in the middle on my level 5 dwarf warrior. Good times...
it remembers me at the time i started with wow. i ran through the world with the music and i love it now, the music is out, i only do dailys and raids, and sometimes, i miss the old times, when i traveld thorugh azeroth with my cat...
I am serious while typing this out; Everytime i listen to this theme, it feels like it is the first time. It gives me a feeling as if i am climing some misty mountain path and keep on re-appearing in the very same location i started off. Creepy stuff, the truth is that i totally forget that i listened to the theme a hour later, but recall it immediately when re-playing the video.
Ahh, remembers me of my Trail accounts. On my first trail account I made a Human and after that I made a second with a Dwarf. I was shocked! Where was Elwynn Forest? I thought that every race would start at the same place and that it was random everymonth. And then this music in the background when i was disappointed. Just as disappointed as I'm now when i remember the fun i had in leveling my Warlock to 60, after that the magic slowely became less and now at 80 i made the decision that I quit
This song reminds me of when i played trial... And since i live in europe and it was the american trial it was always night when i played. I miss nighttime in wow. So still
My favorite zone in WoW is Alterac Mountains...I am lv 80 Mage,i have entire epic gear,i have done all raids and instances that i can...and now,i am lurking trought Azeroth, and my favorite zone is Alterac Mountains.
First time I ever saw the game, my dad's friends were playing as dwarves and were running around... somewhere... in the newbie area killing bunnies and /lol'ing. Heh. Then I played the game.... and it was... amazing. Absolutely... amazing. And I still think the game is great, I just want that feeling back.
I love Dun Morogh at night. Its..very serene..very calming. I just ride around on my mount and randomly stop at places to listen to this. ..and to gank the occasional flaged Gnome >_>..
1:35 is my fav part, i always stop and shut my eyes when i heard that. It just so epic. Im horde and i love the alli zones and music, aswell as my own. I love the game and see that we are all just ppl playing a game, not really orcs... saying ones better then the other is silly
@gerillamotherf I have to agree...I played WoW during the time of the Burning Crusade and I have a lot of fond memories of it, just exploring and doing quests with my friends. Wish I could go back in time to those years just to relieve that "magic" you described.
@gerillamotherf oh yeah the first time you play this game its amazing how endless the regions and the awe feeling you get when you entered all the different areas. too bad the feeling goes away after time :(
I want to create a time machine so I can go back and play all great games from the beginning hehe.. like ocarina of time.. a link to the past, wind waker.. mass effect, everquest II and Of course WOW!
its true i love the game and the soundtracks... but i miss the times of lvl 30-50... that where the biutifulst lvl areas ever!!! and the soundtracks: epic and amazing
buuh...thats crazy shit....i listen to this song and all the fucking memories are coming back :s i played WoW for 80days.....80 days x 24 = 1920hours...thats sick! i stopped playing since last octobre! im happy...but i really miss the beautiful game....best game ever but a huge risk to get addicted!
@gerillamotherf same for me. there is something in this game that you just can't find somewhere else... the place that you discover with this awesome music... this will be a big memory of my life but not a lot of people can understand that...
I hear Really alot ppl saying : i miss the magic feeling first time exploring wow, so that's why blizzard made the Cataclysm, Redesigning alot, and giving ppl the magic feeling back, so lets wait just a few months till cataclysm. Then we play hours and hours in heaven again!
@chaos1shadow Obviously, everything loses its magic. I still enjoy the game, I found it more rewarding and difficult back then, though. I was wrong in saying it's lost its soul, it's only changed. And whether it's better or not now is completely a matter of taste, but I find it hard not to draw the conclusion, considering some new additions and changes, that it's more about earning money than it was before. Sorry for not saying that it was only my opinion.
@tikiToruk Yeh I damit, I can take the game a little too seriously sometimes and I do loose myself in it...think it's the music affecting me these moments ^^ oh well I only got myself to blame :)
I remember hearing this constantly on my first toon: Dwarf Hunter. It gave me an epic feeling. Of being a dwarf. This also makes me feel sad because i feel retarded for switching Worgen from dwarf..seriously D:
@chaos1shadow WoW has never been a challenge. it was easy from the start. Play EQ or any other ball-busting game, then play WoW. the kids had it wayyy easy
I clicked on this. Not remembering what it was, and when I did I heard the first like, and went into tears. Too many memories of sitting around here and hearing this.
Leveling my Gnome Mage in the early house of the morning. These feels cot dam.
The first few notes... My eyes already are swimming in nostalgia.
Levling Gnome Rogue at 03AM.... dem feelz

Dying several times before yetis and troggs what made me swear like a psycho afterwards
I never thought I'd miss it so much
+Furiatek the Hyena Daaamn, don't get me all nostalgic like this !
But even if the game had lots of defaults, I think we all miss this time a lot.
The best way that I can describe this music is that it sounds like the calm, cold embrace of a starry winter's night. How lovely it would be to go to such a grandeur place, where you could feel as if this same music should play there. I love this music,

i must have listened to the first 15 seconds of this video about 50 times. that start is orgasmic.
My first character was a dwarf hunter I made on my bros account....Remember logging in the first time seeing all those races and classes? Having only the slightest clue why you would want to pick one or the other. After 10-20 mins pass you finally think youve found something that feels right. before it becomes a thing of the past
Al. C. thats what I'm saying. I started late vanilla early TBC. this reminds me of my late nights in winter spring. being chased by yetis and moonkins while getting ambushed by bear people going to everlook
Check out Elysium private server! You can replay old vanilla WoW there ;)
It really does, just got to accept that like in real life, WoW moves on
@Przemysław Kochański :)
@@meowfsy4224 :)
I adore the very first few piano keys.. whenever I hear them it gives me a sort of, lonely emotion, as if I'm really alone on a cold snowy mountain.
Nice. I remember when i did my first quests as a Dwarf paladin in Dun Morogh a year ago.
Oh my how I long for the days when WoW was still fresh and new and I'd spend hours upon hours just exploring. This song brings me back
Those memories are starting to come back to me too. I really miss the good times. I miss the friends I have and the friends that were once around then disappeared for no reason.
Depressing stuff :(
That is indeed an awesome tale. I can imagine the feeling of the good old times and getting to the level cap, and then having this music to it.
I remember fishing in the lake in Dun Morogh when I first started playing this game years ago. It was at night and I was just fishing on the little boat in the middle on my level 5 dwarf warrior. Good times...

Those first 5 piano keys are absolutely beautiful with the strings in the background. It could almost be a Windows startup theme.
I am serious while typing this out; Everytime i listen to this theme, it feels like it is the first time. Ahhhhhhh..... doing an elite quests for that first blue 2h axe on lvl35, on my warrior....3 years ago....wish i could go back.
My first char ever was dwarf hunter and even tough i dont play anymore, Dun Morogh is always where my heart will be!
I played WoW .... 3 years ... I getting often flashbacks :( ...
Dont joke about this ... it hurts if you have to leave your friends behind

The start is so awesome
whit that pingle thing ^^
They are. This song just reminds me of them for some reason.
remember when i play i listen to this and i got tired and fell asleep oh and i kinda cried alittle to
“here, in this sleepy trade town along the amber road, a handful of wandering destinies slowly begin to intersect...”
Ah yes, the good old days. My first toon was a dwarf paladin and he's still my favorite, followed by my dwarf hunter.
Ahh, remembers me of my Trail accounts.
On my first trail account I made a Human and after that I made a second with a Dwarf.
I was shocked! Where was Elwynn Forest?

i climbed to the top of ironforge once...... and all around there... i got to the top and the vieew was amazing
My favorite zone in WoW is Alterac Mountains...I am lv 80 Mage,i have entire epic gear,i have done all raids and instances that i can...and now,i am lurking trought Azeroth, and my favorite zone is Alterac Mountains.
Used to love this music whilst passing through on a long flight from Stormwind to EPL's. =D
First time I ever saw the game, my dad's friends were playing as dwarves and were running around... somewhere... in the newbie area killing bunnies and /lol'ing. Heh. Then I played the game.... and it was... amazing. Absolutely... amazing. And I still think the game is great, I just want that feeling back.
watching the screenshots i took many years ago...thanks for the memories me... sniff :'(
I love how the game has a constant aurora borealis.
I love Dun Morogh at night. Its..very serene..very calming. I just ride around on my mount and randomly stop at places to listen to this.
..and to gank the occasional flaged Gnome >_>..
Actually, I hated this area... but hearing the music again and feeling the nostalgia is still great! ^^
1:35 is my fav part, i always stop and shut my eyes when i heard that. It just so epic. Im horde and i love the alli zones and music, aswell as my own. I love the game and see that we are all just ppl playing a game, not really orcs... saying ones better then the other is silly

Put this song and Winterspring together and the day is yours.
@gerillamotherf same for me. there is something in this game that you just can't find somewhere else... the place that you discover with this awesome music... this will be a big memory of my life but not a lot of people can understand that...
Oh fuck the 15 first second T-T
World of Warcraft's songs are too good for the game itself.
@gerillamotherf Well it happens more than once for some people, you just gotta find the right games that you love
I hope that when I die.. I incarnate into World of Warcraft
you are the man. :)
Epic memories
Why does this music make me wanna start a gnome
Bellular
Blizzard dosent make magic like this any more
I hear Really alot ppl saying : i miss the magic feeling first time exploring wow,
so that's why blizzard made the Cataclysm, Redesigning alot, and giving ppl the magic feeling back, so lets wait just a few months till cataclysm.

Wraawraa - PG ^^

Tubular, just tubular
@tikiToruk Yeh I damit, I can take the game a little too seriously sometimes and I do loose myself in it...think it's the music affecting me these moments ^^ oh well I only got myself to blame :)
Fuckin nostalgia... :((
you should listen to the end of the song Aerials by system of a down
there is a hidden song really similar to that one
@gerillamotherf yeah!!!
My fav soundtrack ingame. Sadly there's only one music theme each zone plus most zone themes are boring.
WoW had 'soul' back then.
Blizzard wanted to make a GOOD game, not something sellable.
Before Blizzard destroy Wow...i have see places...places with love...
@gerillamotherf i hear ya bro
I remember hearing this constantly on my first toon: Dwarf Hunter.
It gave me an epic feeling. Of being a dwarf.
This also makes me feel sad because i feel retarded for switching Worgen from dwarf..seriously D:
Does someane know the (keyboard) notes for a part of this song?
Remi1115
В комментариях вижу много людей близких по духу
oh:O i knew that lol :P

=D
Not entirely, the musics makes the game too good :-)
@chaos1shadow WoW has never been a challenge. it was easy from the start. Play EQ or any other ball-busting game, then play WoW. the kids had it wayyy easy
@Remi1115 h
