That’s fantastic Patrik. What amazing creatures they are. Must have been a bit nerve wracking when they were staring at you through the forest. But what a beautiful experience!! 👏👏👏👏
For real, yeah! It was a little bit, but I approached them really slowly and quietly, so they were very calm 😊 I'm so happy... it really was the last try before we would head off.
It was useful at 5:50 to see the camera and get an idea of scale. I would have preferred no background music (you mentioned "no noise pollution" and then added your own!), were they very quiet? could you smell them from that distance? What about the other indications of life? Could you see what they were eating? I loved seeing the ants' nest: another video dedicated just to that please. I hope none of this sounds negative because I really LOVED this video. Thank you.
Thank you for the comment. Yes, I also like to see those "behind the scenes" shots and I will include them more in future videos. Here with the bison, I didn't have enough time to do both so I concentrated more on my main camera. I know, I am still experimenting with the music. I'm not sure about totally excluding it, but I lowered the volume quite a bit compared to the previous videos. They were making almost no sounds, just some occasional branches cracking and at the end you see one of them digging something from the ground. Besides that, they were virtually silent. No, I couldn't really smell them. I was too far and also the smell of the forest was pleasantly strong. Unfortunately, I didn't see what they were eating. There were some birds (you can hear them in the video) but besides that, the forest was pretty quiet. Maybe if I was visiting earlier in the day, there would be more animals visible. Again, thanks for the long and kind comment. I appreciate that. Cheers
@@PatrikInNature Thank you Patrik for your long and detailed answer. I am sure that you will soon have so many comments that you wont be able to answer but in the meantime I am grateful for your thoughtful and rapid response. I hope lots of people get to see these lovely videos.
Yes, Beautiful piano music but definitely unnecessary. I'd rather hear the buzzing of insects, bird calls and the odd breaking branch as the bison passes.

Thank you Annie, noted. In the next video, it will be hard to omit the music, but for the future uploads, I will leave only the ambience :)
