TI Corp Cable Robot

Challenge: The Port Mann Bridge is one of a kind. There are 188 cables that ensure the center span stays in place. The cables need to be constantly monitored to ensure the protective coating remains intact. TI Corp, in charge of maintaining the bridge, looked to tell the unique story about the cable robot that roams up and down each of the cables inspecting every centimetre of every cable.
Solution: Oh Boy created a video about the engineers behind the development of the cable robot, what it does and why it matters. Of course, we needed to show the bot in action.
The result was a fun and informative video about an inspection process that is anything but fun. It’s serious work performed by highly trained professionals.
