Well done on the analysis. Having watched Payton play for the last 5 years at NC State, Pittsburgh is getting a dawg. He competes, he works hard and is a great teammate. If he stays healthy he is going to ball out.
Idk if you’ll see this, but I really appreciate the line backer videos. I watch all of the ones you make on linebackers (McFadden, okekore, etc…) and try to learn from them in order to become a better lb in hs. If you could please make more it would really help me pursue my dream of playing college football
If he ends up a TAMPA2 COVERAGE MIKE LB in a 4-3 he'll be an annual probowl talent and top LB from this class. Wilson is perfect for a TAMPA2 base. Drop him right down the pipe in a COVER 2, the ROBBER in a COVER 1, the 1/2 HOOK in a COVER 3, or glue him to any receiving TE or HB in the MAN UNDER.
His 40 time was just a bonus. This kid is simply a damn good MLB. Hes smart, hes a good tackler, and most importantly, just has a nose for the ball. I dont think you draft with pessimism, and its not like hes Jaylon Smith with drop foot here. Hes too good of a player to pass up on in round two, despite his injury history. Id be ESTATIC if he were there for my Cowboys in round two, but I think he will be gone by then sadly.
This guy is a bust at the next level. This is all subpar competition and he's washed anytime someone gets their hands on him. Doesn't have the ability to play hard nose football. Lacking strength and hand use. Relies on athleticism which he will not be able to do at the next level. even several times in Run D he gets caught staring down the wrong gap
Yea. Put him next to Patrick queen. It’s checkmate people. Best pick of the draft.
Watt, Highsmith, Queen, and Payton 😂
Exactly 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 😮

Go G men
Hes a good player to put next to any good middle linebacker. Perfect duo piece.
Nice breakdown. I love this player, it's just that his injury history that would make me wait until late day two/ early day three to take him.
Reminds me of Blake Martinez from Stanford .

How does he do this with no ACL? I just can’t understand
Ty. I just see too many arm tackles. Tackling up high. Won’t be able to get away with that in the NFL.

He reminds me of Bill Romanowski.
Sayin he’s weak is a lil nuts he takes heads off
How about this guy in the Kyle Hamilton role for Mike Macdonalds NEW Defense in Seattle 🤔
Bang
And I think you are number two analyst. Jason is the number four
