Yep can't wait until I get to their season 3 reactions and see him become a favorite, at least I assume he will cause Season 3 and beyond Steve is one of the best characters in the show. Imo at least

I love how bridgette's first reaction to the cliffhanger was to look at cody like "you want to watch another one too, right??" With like puppy dog eyes. I really felt that 😂
Billy definitely leaves a strong impression. Didn't get too much of him in the first episode but he makes his presence known in this one.
For most of S1, Will was stuck in the Upside Down. So it's nice to see how he interacts with his other friends. And how Mike is really protective of him. Which makes sense. For most of S1, Mike's mind was constantly worried on if Will was okay. He lost him once, so now he doesn't want to ever lose him again.
This episode was totally tubular
I don’t think Mike saw Eleven out the window in the first episode just had a feeling she was there.

Eleven wanted to go out as a ghost because she *knew* Mike and friends were going trick-or-treating as ghostbusters. She would have matched.

Things start to ramped up this season with several characters suffering various forms of PTSD after season 1. Will has it the worst but Mike is suffering as is Nancy. Mike misses Eleven & is so worried that she didn't survive after destroying the Demogorgon last season. That's why he calls out on his walkie talkie every day since she disappeared. More will be made clear in the upcoming episodes. This season is one of my favorites as it introduces us to several new characters, my #1 is Erica Sinclair!
Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) gives an incredible performance this season, as does the rest of the cast but he should have been given an award. Break out the Kleenex for his scenes. I love the Steve character arc & the team up with.... (no spoilers). 🙃
By the way, Max's screen name on game refers to the film series that started in 1979 called "Mad Max" with Mel Gibson. He was in the first 3 films of the series, which ended in 1985. It was remade or rebooted or re-whatever you want to call it in 2015, this time with Charlize Theron & Tom Hardy. I think the sequel to that one is coming out this summer.
Hopper is keeping Eleven hidden from Dr. Owens & the agency he answers to. he wants to keep her safe from being turned into a lab rat again. That's why she can't communicate with anyone, especially Mike because the government is still listening in on everyone's phone calls & still searching for her, in case she's "out there somewhere" & tries to make contact with her friends.
There is one episode in this season that many fans feel negatively about because the main plot veers slightly off course for a bit & it feels disjointed. Some may even tell you to skip it entirely but that would be a mistake. It does have a connection, which will be made known at the end of the season. I personally liked that episode, as it pays homage to the original Star Wars films.

I agree but season 3 is much better in terms of character construction plus it has more eighties vibes. but I have to say that all the seasons so far are good.

So much i wish i could say because i love the series so much.
There is one word to describe Billy's overall storyline arc but i cannot say that now, and that answer will not be in this season at least.
Max is so freaking cool. You're gonna love her.
Mike is pissy because he doesnt want anyone to replace 11. And let's just say he's clueless in other aspects.
Steve is also a fan favorite among all the characters. But THE favorite?? There's more central characters that could take that spot.
You will love the bonding between Steve and another character. The onscreen chemistry (and that doesn't necessarily mean a love chemistry ) made it impossible for even the Duffer brothers to ignore.

i don't hate steve but the obsession people have with him and how he never does anything wrong in their eyes is weird ngl because they never have that attitude towards any other characters

@@jpz2009 he didn't. Jonathan just said that to try not to shine Steve in a bad light, but Steve complained to Nancy that "her other boyfriend brought her home." If you rewatch episode 3 then you'll see
