Saw the movie twice in theatres then bought the digital release to help support it and will buy the physical copy when it hits shelves.

for me one of the reasons i switched mostly to digital is because I'm just running out of space i know that problem doesn't effect most people but i was a big movie collector for many years and I'm just kinda running out of places to put them

@@UnwantedGhost1-anz25 i certainly hope not.. there are still movies i get physically even with the lack of space but who knows lots of things have gone extinct or practically extinct that i never thought would. its entirely possible even movie theaters could go extinct someday.

@@ThatGuy10112 for me, it's important, that no one can take away my physical copies of anything. If one of the streaming services shut down, all digital copies you bought there, is lost. Has happened to me with ultraviolet - kind of a digital backup service, that shut down and all my copies there were lost. But I still got all these movies in physical form, so not that bad.
Thing is,yes it may be more convenient for everything to be digital,but unlike physical objects,nothing digital is forever and once it all goes away,so does all the content that it stored. So physical is the best way to preserve

I am still waiting for that Godzilla Minus One home release. Now many of you are going to say that "yeah they do have physical releases in Japan" and all that hipster jazz. I just really want an American physical copy of the movie. That is all.

I will take physical copies every time given that I refuse to stream movies and shows. Why keep paying for a digital copy you own for a while when you can own a physical copy that you can watch whenever?

I don't think they'll do a collectors edition just yet. But I'm sure they will release a collectors box set when all MV films wrap up and are released.
Just a shame Adam Wingard’s off the franchise now, even with this massive success. I just hope they can find someone with a *_BIG_* passion for Godzilla to do the next one, just like the directors we’ve already had.
He may still be in the background like producing etc.
As long as we keep Garreth Edwards far far away , I think the Monsterverse will be just fine.

The Concept art of the Drownviper and Wart Dog was made by Alex Ries, who also created the concept art for Subnautica Below Zero, and is known in the Spec Evo Community for making the Birrin project.
I hope they make a badass giant wolf titan in the franchise and it acts as an ally to both Godzilla and Kong
The Wart Dogs kinda reminds me of 2018 Rampage Ralph, the giant gliding mutated wolf. The death scene by Lizzie, the ginormous alligator, was absolutely brutal.
Good thing that the Scar King with his army haven't captured and domesticated the Wartdogs to be his pack hunters like some people in real life throughout history.
Goin to Blockbusters (or Ritz if anyone remembers) was a major highlight of growing up in the 80s/90s

While watching GXK my explosive diarrhea started acting up 😭 I was super scared but I held it in until Godzilla evolved and broke out of the ice and when he roared I just let it all out. I honestly think the other guys in the theatre enjoyed it cuz I added some 4D experience to the scene, extra sound effects and all. Smelled like death, tho 😂
I thought I was smelling chunks of Tiamet! What a stench!
GxK budget was also less than Skull island. It didn't have any A list actors to pay inflated costs....which helped quite a bit.

So far, I'm 100% physical copies, when it comes to buying movies! Blu-Ray all the way! And I don't stream, other than on UA-cam, either!
For some people having it emerge earlier to be bought or rented is helpful the extremely helpful. I personally would impress with the movie I thought visually was stunning but it had a lot of old tropes such as the silly black man again which is nice for a movie but move on from that stop making them stop making black people jabbering idiots they're not they're intelligent incise people Little jibber he. then you know how to speak intelligently. now the biggest problem for me was the price it was like 27 bucks$19 to rent $27 to own almost 30 money grab you don't put your rental price more than halfway than the value of the owning price isn't no one will have a rental to just go right for buying it or ignore it altogether. I thought the acting was pretty good I like the storyline for the people I just don't like the fact that keep making black men gibbering idiots for comic relief that's not what they're there for. that's for the white people are for Just kidding that's not what anybody's there for no DC boiled down to a stereotype. As far as the movie itself goes like I said I like the the human interactions but I did not like any of the with the answers for the piggy kong was like Schwarzenegger Scarface looked like a 16 year old boy on crack or heroin or meth for all three who's emaciated she would look like a puppy but she should have been yeah I understand that crystal was involved and they controlled them but all these years he didn't like accidentally trying to bump the crystal out of scars hands are your bite scars we could drop it no He just I'm a little staged let me be a little stay he lived with it he had a choice he gives it a fight scarred what I heard him yeah what's a little pain to freedom I don't know I didn't think it was worth the money and I didn't like the fact that they made the rental price$17 that the buying price was only $9 more I mean screwed market strategy but if you want people to rent it 910 bucks tops as much as I would be willing to pay to rent something Usually I wear stuff when it's three to six dollars and a rented watch it if I like it then I'll buy it again but rental that means it can watch it over and over and over as many many times as I want in that three days and that's nice but I'm not paying$17 $18 just to rent a movie when for $9 dollars more I can own it but I didn't think it was worth it no way in hell was it worth 20 some of those to almost $30 to own.
It's kinda interesting this ended up being the most successful one. I liked it but I was like: Really?
I guess this is an indication that sometimes it's okay to just go crazy.
Gotta get physical copies bc they can do what the gaming systems have done which is simply. Get rid of it and screw over the customers that spent the money. Miss blockbuster

Hopefully the art book will give us a better look at Phosphera and give us more info on this mostly unused titan.
I watched it once in the theater. Ill get the Blu ray on June 11th. If it has a digital copy great. If not,no big deal.
I like the concept art for the monsters shown in the hollow earth my favorite 2 new creatures were the down viper and the wartdog.
Regardless of how things go in terms of box office, this was a great win.
Will absolutely go with the physical version of this movie. Won’t go digital unless I absolutely have to.
I own Skull Island, KOTM and Shins Godzilla. I can't wait for Minus One to hit digital. So I can buy that too.....but I couldn't imagine buying GxK 😂

A lot of the dvds for the heisei and millennium movies are still not available in many countries, toho could make a lot of money spreading their g-movies across the world, cause godzilla is more popular than ever thanks to the monsterverse

Interesting that Jacob mentioned inflation. I know that Legendary wants to make as much money as possible, but with things costing more every couple months, having a staggered home release isn't looking good in the future. Even the die hards won't support that anymore, at least not as a majority.

You can't beat physical! I have already preordered the film on 4K and haven't seen the movie since back in the beginning April. I'm stoked about adding GXK to my collection and am looking forward most of all to seeing it again in the comfort of my own home.

Man, I remember the good old days of Blockbuster and renting a movie. Shame they’re all gone now. With everything going digital nowadays, it’s too convenient, and what happens when the internet goes down? Bam, you can’t access your content. But you at least have something with physical, and you don’t need to be connected to watch it. I prefer my console games physical, too, unless it’s download only.
