Does anyone know where this is? really wanna take my grandpa out, he’d love it.
I’ve probably caught no joke 60 perch this year and zero on the Lucky Craft. Only 1 smelt. Not sure whats wrong. Gonna have to commit to it and just spend a day lurking. Of the 60 I’d say 45 have been on Sandworms, the rest on grubs/kasties
Try and match a high tide with a early morning. I do best either before the sun comes out or on an overcast day. low light is key to fishing hardbaits.
Hella sick into!
Looooove that light setup with loose drag!
it's the only way to go for perch
been challenging with all the rain, good to see you back and catching fish!
Nice!!
Ive only gotten them on gulp sand worms. Used the calissa a ton and got nothing. Im gonna pour gulp juice on the lure first next time.
Nice fish buddy, drag screamed lol!
What the limit on surf perch?
10
The Santa Cruz Surfcaster cool thanks for the info . Also is there a size limit too?
@@K.S.J.Family559 nope
Thanks bro!!
Nice catching perch 👍.. what lure you using bro? Thanks 07.22.2020
It’s a lucky craft flash minnow 110 in the anchovy venus color. All my gear is linked in the description
Nice work Everett. You provided for sure!
Nice fishing and Videos👍🏼 What reel would you recommend between that Penn pursuit 3 and the Diawa Revros? Im setting up a new rig and was debating.
It really depends what type of fishing you are doing. In general I am more of a Daiwa/Shimano fan but the I think the Penn wins here. If you want a more finesse reel go with the Revros. It's a lot smoother and feels better to fish. If you want a reel that can take some abuse go with the Penn. It's extremely solid for a graphite reel and has minimal flex when reeling in something heavy. The carbon drag on it is also really high quality for the price, much better than the felt washers in the Revros
Are u fishing straight braid?
No I always use a small barrel swivel and leader with a clip at the end.
I see many wind knots in your future reeling with that loose drag. Wind knots with braid sucks!
Been doing it a while with no problems
If you continue cranking your reel handle when the drag is singing. it can end up in a huge mess on your reel. Just some friendly advice. Tight lines to you
What beach is this? I’m headed down to San Diego from portland and it would be great to surf for perch along the way.
I wont give away any spots but pretty much any sandy beach will hold perch. Good luck!
Jerry ignacio I live in SD, the best spots is La Jolla shores by the Scripps pier and Torrey Pines Beach
What time of day? And wgat length rod
6:30 AM and an 8'6'' medium action rod. All of the gear I use is listed in the description for future reference
do you have leader tied on
I go from my braid to a small swivel, then to a 20lb leader with a clip at the end
How do u like the reel?
I would say that it is the best saltwater reel for the price. I’ve owned a lot of reels in that price range from Daiwa, Shimano, Kastking etc and the pursuit performs the best. Top quality drag, high gear ratio (hard to find in a cheap reel) and a really rigid frame, even though it is graphite. The rubberized T knob is a nice feature as well
What size? I heard they run small. Thanx for the reply
fish have to be hooked in the mouth. it's illegal to keep if snaged. me and you know the fish went for it. but f & g ain't so forgiving . just a heads up !
only for bass
What beach in SC boss ? Mouth of Salinas River is fire if ever been too
