- Restoring A 1970's American Chopper | Uncle Bunt Motorbike | Find It, Fix It, Drive It | EP 1 | Motorbike Restoration | Chopper Bike Restoration
In this week’s episode, vintage vehicle restorers Henry Cole and Sam Lovegrove are on the trail of a slice of 1970s two wheel Americana. Henry believes the 70s chopper is the next big thing and he’s tracked down a rare British version of the Easy Rider dream… an Uncle Bunt, designed by maverick 1970s British chop builder John Reed. It’s been lying unloved and unwanted in a shed in Preston, but Henry plans an epic, full bling chopper makeover for the Bunt… taking it to one of the biggest classic car and bike shows in the country

Well done Henry, Sam, Alan and Skid, you guys are legends!!!! Just riding that restoration wave, the paint job, the shockers and all the rest, this is just such an epic story, love it !!!!!
Far away in Australia; I'm blown away!!!. Well done team !!!!
love it.Nice to watch them fix an old chopper. There is an old time thought that allows a chopper to be repaired and riding.
Please, more of these. x
Beautiful lads, just shows you what passion can do.
These guys must have several TV Shows in Great Britain OH and I enjoy each of them!!!
The Bike is wonderful nice job you definitely delivered on your vision 😊🎉❤

Any that genius milliyard had a hand in was a shoe in, let alone the guys who painted it and built the forks and tank etc ., good job lads
Brilliant
Love it send to America 🇺🇸
Jo Brand is as funny as me cutting off my own leg and beating myself with the soggy end!
Nasty comment. No need for it. She did a great commentary. Get a life.
You still angry that your girlfriend left you for another woman? Kind of sad that you cant move on without disparaging other women mate.
beautiful job well done ,best wishes from australia
I built a Triumph Chopper back in the late seventies and got it on the road in 1980. I was 23 years old! It had an AEE frame with 12 inch over AEE springers from California sourced by Leon Wallace Customs of Wandsworth, London. It was long, low and skinny also painted in a Candy Apple Fire Red! I was powered by a 1972 Triumph TR6 650 engine which had been built by Dresda Autos who were literally next door. I bought the lump from a bloke who needed to sell it because he was going back home to New Zealand. Unlike the Bunt frame, it had a separate oil tank where as the Bunt frame has the oil in frame set up which was how Triumph were manufacturing the frames for their road bikes back then. I couldn't live with it for long and swapped it for a Moto Guzzi 750S3 which whilst being a much better bike, never pulled the crumpet like the chopper did! Oh, just a tip, it's easier to fit the frame around the engine than to lift the engine into the frame...
I would've done different handlebars but it's beautiful
Yes..strait bars and a solo seat..with SPRINGS..
@@badlyniceness2315 Yup..make it more ridable..least they have a small drum brake up front
Bollocks
Nice work! A little judiciously applied painter's tape might have proved useful for lowering blood pressures when you dropped in the mill.😆😁
Allen Millyard= one of the best. !
Stunning Bike. Great show.
At 4.04 minutes there was an old enfield chop hardtail, henry should have bought that aswell !!
I think he chose Jo Brand because she knows as much about mechanics as he does.
👍😎✌
33:07 - from an old chopper man - lay the engine on its side on the lawn - place the frame over it, push your bolts thru..... guys ...
Awesome build, love it🤙I see your both wearing the new slimline piss pot helmets, do they feel better and safer to wear?
Jo Brand !! I love Jo Brand!
What happened to the design in the photo at 13:00 ....that was a cool looking bike. Doesn't look anything like what you ended up with. I guess it's just not my style. Having Allen do the engine makes it worth some money.
At firstly I did not like his job but this did it. I almost 😢 well done
Should have went for medium ape hangers .....
Forget bunt..(no offense) ..the engine has been worked by Millard…probably gained 50 horses..maybe eighty!
Spellchecked..Forgive me ,Sir Millyard
Hey. You took that matchless g50 sign down like it was rubbish and you didnt even comment about it. Now i wont sleep tonight.
The chopper should have won.
Just as when you think Henry Cole has reached rock bottom in TV production he goes and better's it. FFS
Where did you find the VOICE!
Agree. The narration is cringe
I'd like to know how much that build cost, not that it matters really, it looks good even though I can't stand choppers or easy rider.
However, as with any over the top creation, it's too good to use. When they picked it up, as sorry as it looked, it was a useable bike, well as usable as choppers are, but now it's a show bike that's only ever going to collect dust rather than miles. Which given the engine is a Millyard worked lump seems a complete waste.
To look at......yeah say guy that built that uncomfortable pos.. different Bar's....Different bike
Jo Brand, is Russell Brands dad, innit. Anyway, great work boys.
Unfortunately this isn't the way Uncle Bunt would have wanted it .... He would have much preferred his bike to be sympathetically restored and to be USED rather than become a garage princess.
Mike brewer slapping an old friend of his (Henry) on the back with a second place. Talk about a tight community.
First?
It hurts my tailbone to watch.
I bet that guy was well chuffed selling that petrol can worth a grand for hundred quid
Who is the old lady reading stuff out ? She seems bored and clearly has no idea what she is reading .. why not get Henry or another professional to do it ..
Love jo brand on anything… but this. Couldn’t watch past the first 10 minutes. Talk about miscasting!
Totally agree.
Yeah, I thought it was quite funny 😅 you can really hear how not interested she is in the subject of the show.
Bollocks
Is there not a more mature voice..i can only take so much
You can't drive an MC, it doesn't have a steering wheel!
Mike Brewer on stage too🙃
I wanted to watch this but I can not stand Jo Bland .
Got 2 mins in and that god awful womans voice just did it for me......sorry lads This episode is toast now
You Drive a Car. You Ride a Bike. If you are Driving a bike, please get the fokk outta the way!
Can't stand Jo beand
OW jo narrating is the wrong choice😢
