I ship these two so hard. These two feel so canon to me. Not only does he actually exist in her past, playing a role, small as it might have been, but it was also something that truly affected her emotionally. That might be why she fears the idea of growing older and losing everything if she doesn't find someone to settle down with. All because of a misunderstanding. I don't think Ferdinand is someone that would actually glare at Dorothea since his support with Manuela really shows that Ferdinand is one that truly is one to be mesmerized by songs, and he always listened to them when he was a child. So if Dorothea was singing, Ferdinand would definitely be one that would be captivated by it. Him running might have made Dorothea misinterpret his actions and think that him staring at her was him glaring instead.

The difference between Lorenz and Ferdinand: when physical work is involved, Lorenz is all like "excuse me! *I* am a noble. This kind of menial task is simply beneath me" and Ferdinand is all like "It is a noble's duty to help in whatever way possible" and will literally jump into the fray
At first I hated both of them because I have a similar view to Dorothea about nobility. Lorenz angered me to no end but Fernand grew on me as he believe it’s his duty to treat commoners as equals but Lorenz just believes nobles shouldn’t do “peasants” job. He does get better but he still is deeply prejudicial to commoners
It made me respect Felix more. He said to Dorothea that Fargheus nobles were a different breed of animal and that he was more willing to get his hands dirty.
This one is pretty nice. It literally fixes up all their issues. Ferdinand gets to be with someone who can deal with him and support him. Dorothea gets someone who can take care of her who isn't a jerk.
I think I might be the only one but I kinda ship these two, damn. Dorothea shows big bi energy, especially with the paralogue with Ingrid but her chemistry with Ferdinand is quite undeniable. These two are great together!

Dorothea and Ferdinand has some interactions in the Black eagles route and I dont know but their dynamic just felt good to me? With the initial thought of Dorothea hating him for him being noble thats proud of his lineage to finding out what the fuss is really about, it changed my perspective of the two and I can honestly see them a great couple. Dorothea even has a good sense of political insight if youve seen her support with Linhardt. Though with how the support ended and how Dorothea acted with the paralogue with Ingrid I really cant say if If hes right for her, but they can work. They dont have to be but if they were, it could work.
Its probably the most vague out of all the Ferdinand and Dorotheas supports (I havent seen one where one of them doesnt blatently say they like their partner) but yes, it does feel the most "canon" :)))

Maybe it's just because I'm a huge Ferdinand fan, but the Ferdinand/Dorothea supports, especially the A, stand out to me one of the most memorable series. Not only are they very well done, these convos help show how Ferdinand is one of the most hardworking, earnest, friendly, and principled characters in the game.
This is actually one of my favourite support chains in the whole game. The A support is a particular highlight, and the payoff for the bee comparison was perfectly executed.
The C-Support makes it sound like she's saying "You're a pest" with "You're like a bee", and then once the A-Support comes along, five years later, we learn what she really means. "You were like a bee, attracted to a flower in full bloom." Or rather, "You were shallow, flaky, and materialistic." And she started to see that he was far more genuine and sincere than she made him out to be in her mind, helping her realize just how much she had to let go. The terrible childhood she went through and seeing how two-faced people were clearly had a big influence on her view of the world, making it hard for herself to truly open up as well, while Ferdinand never went through all of that, and only ever tried to be the best person he could be, and basically just learned about what others went through, offering kindness and support. In a way, he actually helps her face that better. TL;DR, this is why I wish there could've still been S-Supports across the board. Some of these Supports just feel like they might as well be marrying. Playing the game, I've even felt that Caspar and Bernadetta seemed cute together.
Just gotta say, Ferdinand should be lucky that the sugar yield for them is year round or else he would have never been able to make those cookies in the 2 weeks it took for him and Dorothea went from D to C to B in my game

Only goes to show that phrase: Don't judge a book by it's cover. However, that is something that many people do many times. The nobles treated the poor like some unwanted thing in their society, hence their actions to ignore or treat the poor wrong. That is what Dorothea faced. And they don't even give her and others a thought, a memory. Once her talent for singing showed, they treated her differently, but only because of her voice, not because that they saw a girl struggling to stay alive. Some of them probably don't remember what they did to Dorothea. This lady was attuned to seeing nobles as stuck-up, rich, and in-their-world individuals that only put more time on their own than anyone else. That experience she had stayed within her. She isn't the first to notice the quick attitude change of people once she displayed her talent, and wondered if they really love her for who is she or love her because she has a beautiful voice.
I bet they used her to avoid acknowledging their cruelty to the commoners to themselves. I read somewhere that African-American musicians in the United States were treated like this during the Civil Rights Era - rich white people listened to their music to ignore the racism in their own minds.

Well they live in a world where magic can heal things. Bacterial or viral infection might be the least of their concerns considering there are worse injuries like wounds inflicted by dark magic or curses.
Idea for an S-support between these two (only available in the final month of your route): Ferdinand heads to the sauna in Garreg Mach _(it's up the stairs next to the training grounds, but is currently non-functional in-game)_ , and walks in on Dorothea as she's bathing. After an embarrassing moment, the two recall this is how they first met back when they were younger (with Ferdinand seeing Dorothea bathing in a fountain). This time, however, Ferdinand has the courage to tell Dorothea that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever known, both inside and out. He then asks her to marry him once the fighting is over, and she gives him a sincere "I'll consider it" answer, but her tone implies she will answer yes.
My second favourite pairing for both of them. Hubert and Ferdinand being flustered for each other is so cute! And I love the idea that Dorothea went to garreg Mach to marry some rich noble and instead meets her warrior princess

Ferdinand heads to the sauna in Garreg Mach _(it's up the stairs next to the training grounds, but is currently non-functional in-game)_ , and walks in on Dorothea as she's bathing. After an embarrassing moment, the two recall this is how they first met back when they were younger (with Ferdinand seeing Dorothea bathing in a fountain). This time, however, Ferdinand has the courage to tell Dorothea that she is the most beautiful woman he has ever known, both inside and out. He then asks her to marry him once the fighting is over, and she gives him a sincere "I'll consider it" answer, but her tone implies she will answer yes.
I tought Ferdinand was a cool guy, besides his rif raf with Edgelard ( I wrote that correctly)

alleycat gaming there are short stories describing what happened to characters after the war when you beat the game and if you get two characters to A support they will be married in the stories.
It’s better that way; and more rewarding by then end when you realized Ferdie supported his wife Dorothea and they raised a happy family
The most weirdest thing ever is the first support conversation. Literally I had that same conversation with a guy before a few years ago.
