it's just pure art, seeing the smiles on everybody makes me smile.
For some reason, this video made me teary. The overwhelming aura of a badminton legend and how he's explaining the shots so patiently and with so many variations is admirable. My favourite player of all time. He may not have won as many titles as LCW, LD or TH but what captured me was his footwork on court every time he played.
The title is very emotional. Like you are a sniper waiting on a battle field.😅 Great video anyway.
Taufik Hidayat mention him that he is an art on The Badminton Experience podcast today.. Now I understand after watch this..
His pacing is spot on
I clapped for the legend sitting on my chair and watching on screen. He is such a happy soul.
Hey Peter, I have watched this several times over some time now, and every time I return to it for various reasons, I feel really teary. You are a person who enjoys your craft and the game and it shows. It is very unlikely that you will be able to read this comment, but thank you for making this video and sharing what you shared that day.
I think people misinterpreted this video, I think that taking the shuttle at highest point is best and only to deceive when you have mastered basics
A coach I spoke to has said if you are early then you can do this. And that makes sense.. it's a bit risky to try to take it late to do it!
it's been a while, but watching him is still joyful.
thank you #Peter
Great video, Peter Gade seems like such a great guy
One of the 4 Dragons! Sheer underrated greatness!
Peter Gade
LCW
Lin Dan
Taufik
No one wants to be a dragon. A lion maybe, but dragons are evil.
When legend himself shows you how it's done, you just watch it with full attention.
I am lucky,i watch peter gade on his prime,at the late 90s.amazing player,
For some it's instinctive, natural.
Others have to learn & then develop it which is really really difficult and can't come without proper coaching.
Instructions unclear, wrist broken...
Jkjkjk what a legend Peter Gade ❤
Most exhibition player. He is one of the Legend
What a badminton magician! Legendary!
We need more of these kinds of videos!
Thank you for this video ❣️
I became ur big fan sir really i have never seen such shots in my life... I was just shocked
This is extreme talent ❤️❤️❤️
He is the master of the trick shots!
Amazing , you are a genius!
Legend for a reason
The low level players who I coach, who should really be developing footwork and speed and take their basic strokes as early as possible, now want to "wait" because they watch Lin Dan videos and videos like this...
Robert Sanders true. I think you need to first master the basics very well before learning to do trick shots. Amateurs watch these great pros and then try them on court, and then lose all the time because they haven’t even mastered basic shots and footwork. Once or twice the trick comes off and they think they’re now great players. I remember a Danish coach/commentator (was it Steen?) who said the reason Momota is winning so much these days is because he simply has a better basic game compared to the others and therefore makes less errors.
You should try to make them understand that the basics are the foundation for these types of shots, and are in fact part of the process of learning them.
they should know that trickshot is useless if they don't get there early
+Robert So what? So people like you want to censor stuff because you can't convince your students of what shots to play? When people have good reasoning they will find use for things like this.
Fun police
beautiful!
Its fun to see the audience eye just follow the shuttle
Legend.
He is a wizard with the racket!!
Very nice video Yonex
You are true legend
Excellent
Peter is such a talent, a master.
Wow very lovely trick
I love playing badminton 🏸
I live in Russia
What a Beauty
Amazing
So much Pleasing🤗🙂
Wow! I can do the first trick shot in practice. I've yet to "find it" in a game. The opportunity is there, and then I panic and play the safe shot. Hopefully I can become more patient and it will happen.

OMG
I love it
Skillful.
不愧是"蓋天王"!行雲流水!
Yup. I can't do that
super sir
What racket is peter gade using ?
I am not sure, is Peter using nanoflare 700 ?
Looks like the 800, but normally he uses the astrox 99
Peter is great. The cameraman not so much. Stop moving with Peter and making him blurry! This is educational, this isn't about your desire for cool zoomed-in handheld shaky shot. Also, thanks for choosing music that make it feels that Peter is dead and we're "remembering" him.
Why private video ? Haha
❤❤❤
i play social badminton and always get frustrated with ppl playing and trying this gade trick shot. cos most of the time they do it for sake of doing it and kill the rallies. i totally agree with the courage to wait and able to change the wrist movement last minute to create deception. but the ultimate trick shot, just like the lindan backcourt flip shot shouldnt be encouraged or used in games. they are just show offs and kills rallies...most often the shot didnt make it. alot players admire gade and want to do his trick shots. but there are alot of other things he does that one can learn to make you baminton game more fun than trick shots. ( there is a split step video he did that was extremely useful and really show how the split step can help one move faster)
老盖牛皮....

Finished watching 5:14
Njir bisaan
Trick shots are for exhibition matches, not for tournament matchplay
You'll miss that shot 1/50 times at Least... Games are often lost by 2 points... Not worth the risk playing a trick shot in a match
For me trickshots is great for pressuring your opponents because it shows that you are willing to take risks for that like look at recent players kevin sukamolio uses trickshots and also legend lin dan
Honestly,in sport world。Only winner can say anything。
Gade just a loser,He really cant compare with LD or Taufik😆
some of Gade's skill is useless in a real badminton rally😆
@@heikei1236 Gade is a great player. You don't need to be the world best ever player to be great player, he won so many titles and dominated in many tournaments in his era. No point comparing every other player with Lin Dan.
Please stay still camera
The music is sad
