If you dampen your hands/gloves with plain water, the raw sausage will not stick to your hands while making the balls. This will also work well when you make any type of meatballs! I appreciate these recipes. They both look yummy and I will be making them soon! Thanks very much.
I use the gloves to keep my hands clean.

Hi there Catherine and Thomas!! When I lived in Ohio me and my parents would order these things similar to this but they toasted little pieces of rye bread and they use the sausage and hot pepper cheese and they called them smores… oh my goodness they are delicious.yummy it makes me want to make them. And I love deep fried pickles for an appetizer and deep fried mushrooms using white Lilly flour and butter milk. Or if I don't use the flour I use this batter dip called shore lunch. Thank you for all these recipes.❤

Oh man those look good. I have an old time appetizer my Grandmother did, made from stuffing mix! I will email the recipe to you! Super easy & very tasty. It is a great appetizer for that Thanksgiving meal, while everyone watches football!

FYI we use a lot of ground beef & sausage my Mrs. has hard time opening the plastic wrapping, so I said let freeze solid then take a sharp knife and cut wrapper let thaw out once wrapper removed place in Tupper ware bowl until needed it time saver for her

I have an appetizer recipe for you. Take a thin sliced piece of salami and put on a won ton wrapper and roll it up as tight as you can. Put a little water on the edge of wrapper to seal. Salami on the inside, wonton wrapper on the outside. Place seam side down, bake in oven until golden brown. Serve with your choice of dipping sauces. We usually use different mustards or BBQ sauce. It's easy and delicious 😋

Love both recipes; especially crustini. Is there a substitute for Bisquick? I've never really liked Bisquick.
You can use pancake mix or Jiffy baking mix.
