I have followed Ethan's progress from the beginning hence I have come up with a theory. After he started his podcast his main competition (as per him) was Joe Rogan. Hence he wanted to be in his league. Ethan hatched a plan for this. In the earlier days of his podcast he used to invite youtubers but gradually he started inviting guests from the big league (especially people who are close to Rogan). Firstly he befriended Bobby Lee (as he was easier to reach than the later ones). Then he befriended Tom Segura and Christina P. Gradually he reached out to Bill Burr thinking he has reached the top tier. All he wanted was Joe Rogan's attention but Joe never even acknowledged Ethan's existence. After failing to befriend Rogan, he lost all his hopes and then begun to tweet nasty stuffs against Rogan (this was just after the COVID-ROGAN-CNN fiasco). To me Ethan is social climber who thought he would be in the top tier of society by befriending people like Burr, Segura and Christina P. He's a loser.
He definitely has a weird obsession with Joe , and it does stem from not getting even noticed by Joe but I mean you can’t try to ruin Joe because of thwt

I saw a video breakdown talking about their story with their kid not being able to breastfeed and their kid was starving but they couldnt decide to give the baby formula on their own. They were told to breastfeed so thats what they did without question. That was a story that really underlined their problem. They can only do what people around them tell them to do. They have no personal agency. Ego might be causing them to think what they are doing or saying are their own thoughts but the underlying problem, I think, is how impressionable they are.

Ethan feels the need to rip others apart to build himself up. It's really obvious and his therapist isn't being honest with him if he is still claiming to be going to one.

idk what people are talking about but this is not a good start to a video. 5 minutes in and one of the first criticisms is that its boring. that's not valid criticism at all its just personal opinion. if you're going to make videos do it from an unbiased pov. i agree with some of your points but i really don't like being swayed or pull towards a direction and it just makes you look like a hater

@@djoeke2675 He promoted a white ethnostate and said that black people and immigrants should be forcibly removed and "relocated" out of America, lol. Among other disgusting Nazi propaganda (literally, I am not being flippant about the definition) such as the "great replacement theory" which is why a lot of his former troupe stopped contact with him completely. It broke my heart to hear him say all that, because I grew up watching him and I loved his irreverent comedy.
@@djoeke2675 That being said, Ethan and Hila had no problem being "friends" with him afterwards. I say "friends" because I don't think they have anyone in their lives that isn't dispensable and they've dropped a ton of people if they cannot use them for content, the public is angry at them, or they tire of them (IE: the people on-camera for their podcasts). They are only "charitable" for clout lol
