Anyone else annoyed with these anime fighting games having a perfect block/parry mechanics and the characters they drop in the future have no moves you can punish. Those times were fun tbh.

@@wren_n7544 He probably means having a game with parry/perfect block mechanics and then the future characters not having moves that can be perfect blocked or it can be perfect blocked but you can't punish it, this actually happens sometimes in Anime Showdown.

@rykage149 no the game is really balanced tbh it's just a skill issue if you can't fight certain characters
@@uncleruckus6990 Not that I can't fight them I'm talking about the fighting game archetypes. They don't work in a game like this. An ippo would never be able to punish a joker, goku black or a rimuru as they are all zoner characters. Also they tend to overnerf characters. Mob went from a B-A tier character to a straight D tier character with the nerfs and bambietta went from A to a fucking E tier character. The devs do not know how to properly balance at all.

Shonen unleashed seems wayy more balanced honestly, and the combat seems smooth but anime showdown got better graphics ofc

They should make serious punch in mode and change it to death counter, and it one shots but takes away your mode. Than put serious punch as semi-serious punch and put it in base
