Growing up on a small farm in Oklahoma you videos bring back memories. If it is any clue how long ago it was, we sold corn 13 ears for $1.00. We also sold 10 ears that were de-wormed, we would cut the top 2 inches off. And if you wanted de-wormed and no husk that was 8 ears for $1.00. Tomatoes, String beans, watermelons, mush melons, peanuts, potatoes, not so many peppers. I really enjoy your videos and see all the family including the newborn. And yes we got up early and went to bed early. As my grandfather said, "early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise"!
I came across your channel by sheer luck! I've been binge watching every show since then. I love your family commraderie and the farm. Beautiful looking veggies
There is a feeling of pleasure in sowing the crop in the fields. Harvesting the crop from the fields feels great. Soil, water and pure air in the presence of nature are helpful in keeping the body healthy. Andrew your voice is very sweet and wonderful

My favorite family! Beautiful peppers… can we see when you plow all these veggies under when the season is over? What is next? Grain? I have no idea.
When I was in my teens I worked for my uncle who had a lot of exotic animals and rehabbed indigenous species of larger animals or the large birds of prey. I remember that one of my jobs was to drive to the local grocers and farm markets who had bins of veggies and even meats to feed the animals. The bears were particularly fond of the tomatoes. We had 5 black bears who weren't able to be released and they lived on the farm until I was in my 30's.
And yes we love your channel is so relaxing. And some times you make me laugh 👍👍👍

I'm not sure why videos of people harvesting their gardens which amounts to perhaps just a barrel's worth of products get more views (nothing against that, kudos to them) when I can get much more ASMR and viewing value from Veggie Boys' videos.
Not to mention there is so much more variety than just watching harvesting alone.
I really enjoy not just the farming, but also the business and family aspects of these videos. They feature everything one can find in a farming game, and so much more xD
I don’t know how to cook most of what you grow especially peppers. I would watch any videos of your grammy or wives showing how to make dishes.

It’s pretty impressive that you are still harvesting this much produce this late in the season. Most of my gardens have run the course even though we still have summer like weather hear in the Midwest.

15:00 not his fault he missed the two cornstalks 🌽, someone planted them crooked.
A good recipe for your potatoes. So if you make a roast and you have your potatoes and everything you save some of the juice of the roast and you sautee the roast and the potatoes and the carrots and you can add some peppers and onions into it. We call that patat fricassee. It's French and we make buckwheat pancakes with that. Oh my God it's so good. Here's another recipe chocolate potato something cubes and if you have a roast when you do is you fry up the potatoes and Fry up some peppers and onions and you can put sweet potatoes fried up with it too. And once it starts getting close to crispiness you heat up in a skillet the pieces of the roast and it's like hash with brisket. Pretty good and of course a northern Maine thing buckwheat pancakes.

Even though potatoes are very cheap I still enjoy growing them. Digging them it feels like digging treasure. You never know for sure. Red I do like norlands, but now I grow Viking and kennebec.

For work with horseradish you have to used fishing mask,or the mask you use for swimming.

It’s amazing how much water your fields can take in and not be flooded, you mention the rocks help drain but is there a high percentage of organic matter too to help suck up the moisture?
