2 separate categories really need to be in place. This is coming from someone who mains a second device, and its just so much easier to mix and make tracks sound nice and full. Don't get me wrong you can do the same thing on the rc-505, but it takes a lot more time to do, and even in the end doesn't sound as full. I hope the loop station scene soon adopts this competition model because, the gap is just growing further and further as people start to learn their second devices more and more.
