Love this man. One of my most favorite songs. The chords are so beautiful they take you to another world. The live at budokan also has one of the best solos I've ever heard.

It'll be split into 3 sections just like the song so I'll be able to get it out in installments. Only downside is it's the last song so got a few humdingers to get through before then.

There's a case to be made for a ii chord there. ii's iv's at a certain point they can interchange. The pedal tone makes it impossible to determine either way. Though I guess you can say it sounds more diminished than anything else.. which would make it lean toward a ii... WELP NOW I GOTTA START OVER..

Yep.. It means there's a 6th 4th and 2nd on top of the bass note.
