Bonus exp packs, skill issue. You drown underwater after not paying attention? HOWEVER I do agree... the timing seems off and with this elevator that's sooo deadly.

people try to finesse some of these quests by sheep+grab the item or mindsoothe+run thru the instance im here to tell you, in hardcore there is very little margin for finessing quests. you are always better off just killing all the mobs in the area of the quest item, and picking up the item when they are dead. the honest, old fashioned way. maybe you save yourself 15 minutes by successfulling finessing a quest turnin, and for your efforts you gain a 2000 experience. or maybe you die, and lose your level 30 that youve played for 70 hours

It is really odd. my brother had the same thing happening to him, but only on his warrior. His Shaman is just fine. Zeppelins were really strange too. Not surprising to see many corpses there if there are more people having that bug

Mobs 3+ level you have like.. 16% chance to miss? I think/hope he had to talent to get 6% more hitchance. Which means 1/10 chance 5 times, 1/100 000 ?!? Maybe that npc have extra resistance to arcane? He died with evocate, mana shield and cold snap off cd tho. I would have run at the 2nd/3rd resis tho.

AoE taunt failed and I get stunned by them just as im jumping up to the roof (which is safe from adds). I killed her 3 times and couldn't loot the corpse before this happened.

The majority of deaths appear to be people trying to kill stuff a few levels higher and wondering why they can't hit them or spells are resisted, or panicking when they pull 1 extra mob and then running when they could have fought and won, but instead pull 3-4 more. Also running and redotting or turning to attack randomly and resetting leashes for some reason.
it was also a bit bugged for some reason. Watch the time it takes to close the door nd move. Its wayyyy faster than it is usually. I know that elevator well, that speed is like twice as fast as normal xD
I don’t understand the issues on UC’s elevator. It’s not hard to figure out. Don’t rush in to make it in time. Don’t leave too late to exit. Don’t stand on the edges when going up or down. Be in the middle. Don’t jump into the middle.

You can get a weakaura which shows combat time or just that you're in combat. - Why the fuck would you clear that part on the deadliest zone of the whole dungeon - Didn't bring a mage. If there is one thing that can save a bunch of melee is a mage. Most are frost, and at that level they have cold snap and can nova TWICE. They can also sheep those pesky dwarves. If you don't have any, at least bring engineers with target dummies. - There is a reset spot on the higher left part. Some mechanical bulb hangs out from the corridor. You can jump and hearth there (or jump where there are no mobs like the lock did)
No idea why literal new players are on hardcore “learning” just go play era 😂 or be prepared to waste a hell of a lot of time when you could just corpse run as a punishment instead and speed up your learning process

I recently started a new undead HC character. I just wait for a new elevator to arrive. So in the case one is already available upon my arrival, I wait for it to leave and to come back. Then I enter and leave asap. Entering an already open elevator usually means death.
The Undercity Elevator is something I fear ever having to go down now. Honestly, I think it’s safer to just go though the sewers. Note: I don’t know if the fall is enough to kill you so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

No one reads the alliance poison quest either. Many many rogue deaths from the malfunctioning drone there.
The hardcore stats released by blizz recently showed that falling is the #2 cause of death since it released. The elevator boss is real 💀
