I know right, how much time does that save like 1-2 minutes. after walking much longer to get to Blackrock Mountain in the first place. why do people take these risks.

If you jump further away and just accept you will take some lava damage its fairly safe. Would still just run along the chains on HC
I am never doing the lava skip in HC.

@@mggirard13 well running also doesn’t work if you glue your back to the mobs so both matter
@@seifeir6951 agreed but it's even more important to stop auto attacking. Strafing will reduce damage and prevent daze but if you never stop auto attacking the mobs will never leash.

I was the Mage at 3:48 inside that scuffed SM run. It was a flawless run, all of SM, up until that point.
Turns out, it was the priest that got an inch too close to the boss.

I use it every now and then, but at 60 and with improved stealth talents. Mid 50s it's suicidal

@@EdyGlockenspiel all good :D most keyboard vary by country, and it's mostly to do with the prevalence of letters. Z isn't all that common in English, but much more so in German, while we barely ever use Y. Just the same, we have specific keys for the Umlaut letters (Ö, Ä, Ü) just left of the Enter key.

Man, I gotta get away from these enemies! Surely they'll leave me alone if I KEEP PISSING THEM OFF BY HITTING THEM OVER AND OVER...it was nice of the rogue to help the priest he almost killed but what a moron, killed himself not by helping but by running like an idiot.
It annoys me so hard watching these clips sometimes. Constantly resetting leashes with attacks, and blindly walking into other hostile monsters. It’s like people turn off their brains the second their gameplay doesn’t go flawlessly like they planned
guy in last clip couldve survived if he actually understood how stealth works, just walk behind the mobs its not that hard. he stood still in front of a lvl 58

8:55 that is literally the only time light hearth will work is when they are macroed together. You can't click them or even have them on separate keybinds as they are both exactly 10sec. Even a .01 sec time difference between using light and hearth will kill you. If they are macroed they go off at the exact same time, thus the moment light ends your hearth finishes it's cast.

My priest levelling buddy is more upset than I am I think.
These videos teach valuable lessons. The two I have gotten the most out of; 1. No lava skips and 2. Stay out of Ruins in STV.
Edit: Three things, apparently turning your back to mobs give huge DPS increase because everyone seems to do it. 🙃
Also, when in doubt run into more mods when running
you lose all dodge / block / parry chance when you turn your back

Looks like 1 of the mobs has mind soothe, perhaps another mob resisted a second mind soothe from the priest.
It was either the priest or the hunter. The hunter's mana bar wasn't going down during the moment Mograine aggroed, but the priest's was. Yet, the hunter is the target of all those aggroing enemies, so either the priest faded, or they hoj'd the hunter because the hunter was the one who pulled Mograine. It's hard to tell, because the T-shirt advert covers the minimap during the pull. Would the hunter have shot Mograine on purpose without expending any mana? The pet wasn't attacking him either. I also think it might have been the priest this time around since the priest is using their mana as Mograine is pulled.
You can see a purple trail in the air and the priest is out of range. Was probably one of his 'mind' abilities.

The guards attacked spawned hostile NPC's. They appear after turning in a high lvl quest for bracers in this room.

@@dirufanboy1971 they aggroed on the nearby players first, plus if you low lvl - aggro range for high level mobs is pretty big

I get why Shiestyballa was mad, but by going to RDF with a 37 tank you were really just asking for trouble...
At 37 with a two hander and pulling while the healer is low on nana, he had no reason to be mad with anyone except himself
He was still tanking with a 2hander even as he died, even the dps warrior was able to swap to a shield when he needed to.
It was a failure on the whole group healer for standing melee range of mobs takeing unessasary damage and pushback, not focusing targets, pulling with low mana, warr not using defensives correctly you can get away with small mistakes but when theres alot of small mistakes they add up to a big problem.
Lil tip, stop attacking while you're running away, it keeps the aggrp on the whole time.

Its a custom thing only he can see from an addon, just like all the gear transmog.

Hardcore players need to spawn in with a manual on strafe jumping, it would save so many lives.
