MILK THE HELL OUT OF THE TOURIST PERSPECTIVE. While the exoticism of the city might not be there for you given that you're near the city all the time, the world always has eyes on NYC. Milk any and all tourist related perspective/angle/attraction/hype/marketable aspect of what NYC already has to offer. That's an infinite number of videos for you.....You're creative enough
I was in NYC in September for the first time celebrating my Birthday, I wished I had known about this. I had been following you and took notes on a few things. I didn't do everything this time, because we're definitely going back. Thank you so much for keeping us in the know😊
The lobster rolls and the sushi looked great to me. Cheers!
You forgot marriot marquis broadway lounge lmk if u wanna do a video
😍🇺🇸🙌🌏
Beast & Butterflies Bar is awesome!
Thanks for the tip off Mr.Kid
@@HereBeBarr Hiya Jon! Love your videos! I'd also recommend The Knickerbocker Hotel rooftop bar. I think you'd be mesmerized by the view up there! An excellent view of the NYE Ball & Paramount Building Clock Tower. Go there at night for the best view, with all the lights on. It's right smacked in the middle of Times Square too. :)
Will this be open in December?
@@ryangleghorn5388 yes
Do you have to be 21+ to be able to go in the beast & butterflies bar? I would like to see that view of Times Square! Thank you:)
The fact that the jazz club allows kids is amazing! My 10 years loves jazz & she has never seen a live show in her life. This will be a great birthday surprise for her ! Thank you for this video 🤍
We're going again this week!
You are a Hidden Gem! I feel like you are the number one top New York City travel expert. If I ever have a chance to get there I will definitely be binge-watching and re watching all of your videos. Honestly I had kind of given up on the idea of feeling like I needed to ever go there but your videos make me want to visit.
Completely agree. You should be getting paid for advertising NYC to the world.
I went to Sushi Brazil today based on your recommendation in this video as an Austrian tourist. It didn't disappoint! It was absolutely delicious and I have never eaten anything quite like it. Thanks a lot for this hidden gem :)
Das gibt's in meiner Kleinstadt in Brandenburg beim Vietnamesen. 🤣
I think you gotta make this video for every neighborhood
Cheap Eats/Hidden Gems hmmm i could hahaha. Good idea.
@@HereBeBarr bam! 20 videos right there
A good selection of interesting options. Definitely up to try that sushi.
Sou brasileiro e vivo em NJ, e não sabia que tinha esse Brazilian sushi em Manhattan. Thanks!!
Well, I think it's time I scheduled a visit to good ol NYC for these attractions! Thanks, Jon and Adriana, once again!
The first place looked like the best! The din of the streets and drinks/snacks away from the scams...cant beat that
Jon, you and I have been New Yorkers for a very long time, and no matter how great we know the city is, it never fails to surprise us to just how great it is.
I'm at Beasts and Butterflies right now. This place is fly and quiet. This is definitely a hidden gem. Thanks so much. It's cold but it's worth being outside
Rooftops anything rooftop in NYC I love
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library is awesome! Would love to do work there whenever we're in the area.
We gotta check out Sushi Brazil too! 🍣
😬😬😬
Have to say you deserve 1 billion and beyond subscribers Barr !!!!! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟
You're hitting all the spots for my next visit. You definitely make NYC fun again. I'm a history freak. My ancestral family is from Bronx/Brooklyn. I really enjoy the unknown spots you find.
A library with a rooftop? never heard of a better combo.
Love the sushi 🍣 and jazz club but the winner is the library. Amazing at night
Free can’t be beat
Thank you so much for mentioning that Birdland Jazz Club is kid/family friendly. Have two teens and we all love music, this will be definitely one of the spots we visit on our trip this summer!
You had me at the first joint. Hahahaha
Top video today! Amazing places that my wife and I will be visiting, thank you for sharing
Birdland Jazz looks amazing! It feels similar to Iridium which is also in the area (under Stardust Diner) which I did visit.
The rooftop bars are to die for!
Even though it's not a secret per se, 54 Below (former location of Studio 54) is a GREAT cabaret venue with top-billed talent in a small dinner club. Every show I've seen here you can make eye contact with the artists. They really play to the room and it's a different experience to a larger hall where they can't see the audience through the flood of lighting.
Good tip!
Fun fact: I have close associates who have performed at 54 below. I might be performing there myself sometime next year
Due over from the UK next April for the first time. Would love to go to 54 Below. Have been watching Michael Feinstein performing there as well as other Cabaret artists
You just taught a NYorker some new gems. Loved it!
I always enjoy your videos!! Thank you so much!!
Sushi Brazil was awesome thanks for recommending it!
2:46 "It kind of sounds like an alien is playing a xylophone." Haha! Best metaphor yet on this channel.
Good entertainment during dinner are great ideas
The sushi looked yummmmmyyyyyyyyyyy
Excellent edition . The two rooftops were great
Thanks

Thank you so much for the awesome tips 👍
I love these types of videos, so much info
You were just across the street from John’s of Times Square! The pizzeria I told you that used to be a gospel Church. You should definitely check it out. It’s 2 floors, 450 seats and 4 brick ovens. And great artwork! Another great video by you!
Luv Birdland! So glad they're still in business!
More great tips. THANKS ! 👍
This is a nice video to wake up too this rainy Sunday in Vancouver British Columbia Canada at 7:00am. Watched it twice. Many Tks this is excellent

This video hits the spot. I never heard of Birdland, but now I want to have dinner and listen to some great jazz there. And that first rooftop lounge is about as good as you'll find anywhere on the planet.

I live 3,000 miles away - but I'd be at the Jazz Club in a New York Minute. Great Video.
We also did the Library rooftop very nice!
Birdland is definitely on my radar! I'm a huge jazz fan and as I live in the UK I love to go to Ronnie Scott's so being able to go to Birdland would be a bucket list trip.
