Cool bowl! Love the colors in the bowl. It looks really good. By the way, the antlers look amazing. Don't let anyone's remarks stop you from doing amazing works. If the people that are criticising do not like what you do; then they can stop watching. The rest of us that watch your channel is because we love you and the creativity that you have. Keep up the great work! 👍
Thank You Sandra, I don't care what they say to me anymore, I just tell them Thank you and move on, wait sometimes I pin their comments to the top so everyone can see them. LOL
@@PohlBarnProductions I get that, and I love it. I'm much of the same bent. I love to make stuff - in my case mostly writing and drawing. I get along better with myself unencumbered by a backpack full of attitude. Cheers, brother. Carry on in good health. I love watching your videos.
You do a good job hope you get a big buck but I like your videos you make it interesting by talking about the wood and the way you make it and about the wood and what to watch out for thank you for sharing!
I like your work, but I believe I’ve seen you do a better finish job on other projects, but, you are a real inspiration to us novice turners. Thanks for producing your vids for us to learn from!
Thank You John, yeah I struggled with getting a nice finish for a long time, this is an older video, also this is a glaze coat resin and it moves while turning and also doesn't polish up well at all.
Dang I wanna eat me some chicken soup out of that! Great bowl. I love it cause you never know what your going to get until your finished. The combinations, colors, and creativity are endless. Just like painting,... one out of 20 is a master piece.
It's still a great bowl. The wife will love it! I love watching you being creative and turning. But please, slow down, let folks enjoy what you do. Edit out the sanding and boo boo's and even speed up the turning but not quite so fast. Thanks for posting your craft.
LOL Ok, I never thought in a million years my videos would go viral, I might of cleaned them up a bit so the could be come the stars they are today. LOL are they to long now? I can't do anything with them as short as they are now !
1rst off mate fantastic looking piece, if that is your waste wood your a lucky guy having such figured wood to turn on the lathe, over here in the UK that stuff costs a fortune, it really came out great as all your pieces do, quite the talent you have and a good eye for form too , 2nd point great comeback dig at the fingernail haters lol fk em all I say your a working man and doing a fantastic job keep it up, now i gotta wait for your next one , cheers Ross
LOL Thanks Ross, Yeah I've been waiting for the right moment to jab back at them, It's been so so hard not to jump on each and every one of them about it, but I know it's not in my best interest to do so, as far as the wood, that stuff is almost to far gone, the resin actually stabilized it, or I would of had the horrible tear out I had with that bowl the piece were from. Glad you liked it.
well next weeks video is of flat work, no turning, no talking, just sped up video and sad sad music, we lost a fur baby this week and I just cant send him off in a cardboard box, I put my heart into this box this last week and I'm not finished with it yet. be prepared, I can't help it I feel I needed to to this for him. Doug
The Pohl Barn Projects i feel for ya big fella its not an easy thing to deal with each have their own personalities and always leaves a big empty space when we lose one , Ross

That resin is designed for counter tops, it's somewhat self healing, I should of done that research first, instead of worrying about prices. it works but isn't what I should have used.

For what it's worth, I think you're a better artist than you give yourself credit for. And I relate to that.
Thank You Stephen, I've never been all that arrogant, I just like to make stuff,

Looks awesome!!
Cool, nice project.
Id put several coats of spray laquer on that scrapwood bowl, sanding lightly between coats. Then finish with a wax to bring out the shine.:-)
Thank You Cathy
I think she did a fine glue up. Kinda reminds me of head cheese.
I mean that as a compliment 👍
Thank you Ray

Thank You, I'm not sure if I had the shine Juice back then or not.
Looks great! Maybe the resin will harden up a bit over time.
