Used to love coming to hemsby with my parents when I was younger..haven't been since they passed away in 2017 & 2018. Hoping to come back soon with my little ones and revisit some childhood memories 🥰 looks very much the same as how I remember apart from the new car park area and the old caesars x

Stayed on bell air a few times when i come down i mainly stay on florida site
Haven't been to Hemsby since 1989, my mum always booked chalet 15 Seadell, I was hoping you would walk onto the chalet park, lovely holidays there. I couldn't see the launderette we used, there was a fantastic fish and chip shop a short walk down from Seadell and a great bakery with the most delicious cream cakes 😋 happy family memories.
I’ve stayed on seadell quite a few times I’m sure number 15 is still there !! Definitely no fish and chip shop or launderette on site now , seadell shop at front

Mmm….. What a difference a year makes,if you did exactly the same walk today in 2023 you would be surprised at how much more has disappeared into the Sea.
I used to go on Holiday in Hemsby when I was 11-15 so back in 78 and back then we had to climb over 3 Dunes to get to the Beach ( plus there was a old white staircase on one of the dunes ) nowadays there is ? Half a Dune left ?.
Quite Scary how quickly the Coast is changing and being eroded away there,we Holidayed in Happisburgh as well back in the 80’s and that’s quite sad how much of that’s disappeared

I kinda like hembsy but not now the whole village is nearly gone we need to try and save hembsy village otherwise idk where me and my family is gonna go for holiday and I've went there since I was abt 14 months old bc my mom took me on the train and I cried on it-
will be there on the 8th of june for one day and back on the 10th of august for 10 days, great video.

I went there for 3 days during the last 3 days of school break (April) it was amazing. 10/10 I’m hoping to go again tho our caravan was quite far so I hope we get a closer one next time

They could have placed that Hemsby sign in a better place, not really a photo place in a car park!
