This need really needs to be understood beyond the music. The lyrics are very deep and REAL!
Jugni is a "khayal" an imagination.
It's derived from the word Jugg, Which we call "Jagg" Now days Jagg Means "Jahaan" i.e the whole world,
however the word "jugg" means everything that exist i.e everything in whole universe, including the whole universe itself and collectivly that everything becomes jugni, and jugni prays to ALLAH and The Prophet PBUH.

This is hard core peasant punjabi, even we punjabis don't understand it fully. But the song is MAGICAL...
Jugni is not a girl. In Punjabi folk it is the collective conscience of the creation that sings praise to the Creator. The literal meaning of the word is 'Firefly' - a small living guiding light that shines irrespective of the immense and frightening darkness that surrounds it.
This is a Fantastic old song in a modern music and base. The lyrics are pretty deep and difficult to understand but in short we can say that its about the soul and life and death. The wants to elaborate that life, world and youth is temporary so, we should enjoy it.
