I can't take credit for this one, as it was requested by chat! I also should have mentioned that welfares allow you to level them at double the experience rate during the event of their release! That then is the best time to level them or grail them (even on a rerun as well) as the efficiency of each card you put in is doubled. Today has been exactly one year since I've started playing FGO. It sure was very difficult to get all of the mechanics this game has and when is the best time to do things or wich servants are better than others for a battle. In regards of game mechanics, your videos were the absolute best for helping me, because other FGO youtubers usually focus more on the servant reviews aspect of the game. Today I have quite a good grasp on all of the game's mechanics but I still find some new information in your videos (like the secret rate up on dailies). I'm so glad for everything you did for the community Khadroth and am so glad to see you upload more.
I'm a year 1 player with what I believe to be a good understanding of the mechanics of the game and even I didn't the dailies had their own Rate up. That's why I love this channel, really helps me understand the game even better.
wait I just got into FGO last week and been working my way through Khadroth's vids, what is the secret daily rate up? I can't find any info about it on google
I legitimately just finished supergrailing my spishtar maybe 2 weeks ago, and the most recent 2× success rates really saved my ass. definitely discounted my crawl from 100 to 118 (until I was coinlocked lol).
This is a great way to explain a new player how to manage exp and qp resourses over time it was a great video even if i already have all my servants max lvl I never know about daily rate up on ember gathering

Kadroth your videos have been such a life saver, as a player who is currently on Solomon the games starting to make me a lot of decisions. Your videos have been saving me a lot of time and helping me efficiently level my F2P 5 Stars. Thank you so much for all of your effort (and good taste in Saber faces). I hope you can do a short video soon on the Fou crystals that level my characters stats. Unless im suppose to just toss them in

I don’t know if it was mentioned by anyone, but for my favorite units I always start with Fou cards atk/hp to 1000. This brings your unit to lvl 3 and then I start using my embers. I also don’t burn the low Fou cards and use those to bring up my low rarity servants. It costs a bit more overall, but burning them is wasting hp and atk up for your units.
This is what I do, except all units get the 1000/1000 treatment, not just favorite ones. Another thing I do is to save ALL class cards for only extra class units. Space Ishtar to 120 is expensive and every little bit counts.

Glad I didn’t grail much early on. When we suddenly got level 120 and coins, I was ready and did it in a few days during Anniversary.

As long as you keep your account expenses at say >70% efficiency you're doing great. There will always be something more you can do but it really will make the game more "annoying" to play until you burn out easily.
Bit of a random question in regards to this video, but do you perhaps plan on doing a Rasputin analysis? Would love to hear your extended thoughts on his kit!
I can see about getting one uploaded, though I'll probably keep the analysis uploads to units who are currently relevant/upcoming

Understandable/reasonable! Although Rasputin is arguably still somewhat relevant considering he is technically an LB7 servant, but I get your point. Whatever the case, thank you for the consideration :)
Funny thing, I was trying to get as much Lancer Embers for when Melusine comes out that my account has a mostly full Storage that even the 2nd storage is filled, and that got me levels as well.
Grailed Kama. Never regretted. (just to lvl 100 of course).
Grailed Kama to 120. Never regretted.

@@flashmozzg With how much embers we just got in present box you probably could if you had the coins, QP, and grails XD
@@kevins.7702 I think it's only enough to get 1/4 of the way there (so to level ~106). Also, the real limiting factor for me would be the lack of servant coins. You need at least NP3 to get a single append AND lvl 120.
@@flashmozzg With just the ~1000 5* embers, it's about 1/4 of the way. Depending on how much you've stored up or farmed from lotto you might have enough. I think I may have enough to get 3/4 of the way to another 120 if I wanted to. Just out of curiosity, what NP level do you have?

i always find myself not leveling servants because i haven't fou'd them first (and don't want to do so when they are max level, for the qp cost). Is it worth to roll the friend points for 1-3* fous every time I need to?
You should spam the friend gacha for the coins when there's an event. If you play long enough you will have almost every single character max foud and with more than enough mana prisms to always buy the 20 fous each month. I sometimes run the friend points on a regular day because it takes way too long to spam over 2M friend points during an event. But if you don't have more than 1M FP you should always save until the right moment.
Not really, because the rates are low enough that it will take you a long time to actually get enough. Better to roll your FP out when there's a benefit to do so, and instead grab every Fou you can from events, campaigns, and the monthly shop. Never burn a bronze fou though until you have every single unit for that class fully fou'd.
@@Khadroth I meant to say to spam the FP gacha when there is nobukatsu on rate up because he gets a lot of coins and you can get a tone of his copies. But yeah that is all the advice i would give him aswell
