Mapex Unleashes 14 New Black Panther Snare Drums at NAMM 2020

Get Your Free DRUM! Mag Pack ► pro.drummagazine.com/free-dru... Mapex completely revamped its Black Panther snare drum line for 2020, with 14 individual drums released at NAMM 2020. There are too many to go through them all here, but we have focused on a few eye and ear catchers.
The smallest is the 10” stainless steel Wasp. There’s five other metal snare drums, including the 14” copper Predator snare drum, and other 14” stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and hammered brass models. There’s also the white marine pearl finish Heritage snare, with a 5-ply maple shell and walnut reinforcement rings. All of the drums have Sonic Saver hoops, tension adjustments on both sides of the drum, and Mapex’s proprietary Soniclear bearing edge.
