It was 3 years ago but I must tell you Angela miss your programs today. 😂😇🇵🇱
I know Grandpa swells with pride as you teach others to quilt (and as he looks at your gorgeous quilts!). I love this quilt; I think it is the pattern itself; OH, so many color choices! Thanks for another great vid and quilt! 💕
I love the fact that your grandpa taught you how to quilt and that he is your inspiration. My grandmother is my inspiration. I remember her hand quilting when I was a little girl but before she could pass the skill on she developed Parkinson's. Now at 44 my husband bought me my first sewing machine and I'm currently quilting. I love every step of the process and it makes me feel close to her. Thank you for your inspiration and all that you do I love watching your Channel. Thank you.
Family is what life is all about and SO IS QUILTING for me! Your midnight quilt show reminds us all that life is always better with a hobby that is passed down and thought of with such loving thoughts of those that came before us:))) Thank you for all of it!! Hugs, GrammaBabs
I enjoy listening to you talk about your grandpa and quilting!
You and Missouri quilting company are my favorite.
Thanks Angela it was great to actually get to meet you today at the AQC in Melbourne you are just as great in real life as you are in your episodes, keep them coming they are fabulous :)
Thank you!!! The ARC show was amazing, I am thrilled I got to meet so many fun people. 😀
I so thoroughly enjoy you series Midnight Quilt Show. You make everything look easy and do-able. I love that you share your talents with the world as you teach how to do on your quilts. Free video and pattern can't be beat. Thanks a million from an adoring fan.
Thanks so much for watching, I so appreciate it!!!
So ridiculously simple and yet so very effective...... Wish I'd thought of it.
I love his humor
I love your show love the way you talk about grandpa he sounds li!e a sweet man.
Angela that is beautiful. You make it look so easy!
Angela You are wonderful and your quilts wonderful too
Not many of us can claim our GRANDPA taught us to quilt!! Beautiful tribute to him. I wish your videos were longer.
Angela, you look and sound so much more comfortable in front of the camera. You are absolutely fabulous when you are unscripted (more or less). Really enjoyed your episode.
How long did you get with your husband's grandfather? He must have been thrilled to have you to share his love of quilting.
All the best and continued success! p.s. You look gorgeous!
Aww thanks so much!! I appreciate your sweet comments. He was in my life 7 years....not long enough for me, but definitely long enough for him to impact the rest of my life.
Love, love, love your colors on all your quilts.
Beautiful quilt Angela!
I love watching you quilt!;!!
I just finished this quilt top with the boundless blenders hydrangea and some glittery grey fabric for a friend of my father's. It came out beautifully. She's going to love it.
Angela....I have never been much on scrappy quilting but You have won me over to the 'scrappy side' of quilting with this quilt design. I can't wait to make this quilt. Thank you! Please don't ever stop inspiring us!
Thank YOU for supporting me, I so appreciate it!
Your grandfather-in-law sounds like he was an absolutely gem of a person. You're carrying- on (and passing-on) such a rich legacy.
big love from Saudi Arabia
I have no intention to make a quilt , cuz my sewing skills are below average
However, I can not MISS one episode of your funny show
Thank you for your efforts , now I have huge respect to this amazing craft .
Thanks so much for watching!
Angela, I have been enjoying your show so much. You are so fun! Just a tip I use. When I open a jelly roll I use a lint roller, but I use it on both outside edges before I actually unroll it. It gets lots of the fuzz and threads before you start.
Another fantastic show, thanks for inspiring us !
Love you show
Thanks so much!
Thank you Angela for your midnight quilt shows they are absolutely fantastic.
Thanks Angela, I love watching your videos. Your quirky sense of humour is great 😊
Love this! What a great tribute to your grandpa!!
Oh Angela, you are an angel! I have a bunch of scraps of fabric from my mom's years of raising 6 kids on the farm and making the clothes we (and she) wore. I started cutting them into 2 1/2 inch squares already because I knew I'd make a scrappy quilt from the "colors of my mom's love" and now I have the perfect pattern to use. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm still and will always be a farm/country girl! This will make the perfect heirloom quilt in honor and memory of my mom. Thank you.
michael woods that's really special. Good luck with your project. I'm sure you're Mother is looking down & is very proud x
I love it!!!! I hope you have fun making the quilt :)
michael woods
That will be such a treasure.

Great story about your grandpa! Grandparents are the best!!
Your grandpa would be proud of me! smiles. I subscribed to you a while back and never miss one of your shows. You are my absolute fav teacher!
Thanks so much for your support! You don't know how much it means to me!
I never thought I would be able to free motion quilt but after watching your shows I have actually succeeded in quilting a block!
It has been a bit expensive though as I have now ordered some quilting gloves and 3 of your books.
Thanks for making it possible.
A one-time investment, and now you're off to the races! So excited to see what you make!
Love your videos. And love the sound of your grandpa
The brown really adds a warm rich feeling to this quilt. I really think its stunning and goes great with those florals.
I love this quilt so much...
God bless your grandpa!
I cheated earlier and found the free pattern on Craftsy 😋 now I get to watch the video! I'll watch again tonight on my computer. Great quilt! Darn it ~~~ didn't know I'd might like traditional colors.

Thanks so much for stopping by to say Hi!! I had an amazing time with such a great group of quilters 😀
I love how you talk about "grandpa" all the time and his influence on your life. I also love that he was your husband's grandfather but just as much yours. That's how family should be.
Amazing
Great video (as usual)! Wonderful story, and beautiful quilt! Your Grandfather left quite a legacy, which you respectfully acknowledge on a frequent basis. This makes me admire you than your gorgeous finished projects! You are my "Quilting Super-Heroine"!
awww thanks so much!!!! I've read a quote that sums grandpa up perfectly. "Carve your name not on tombstones but on the hearts of people. Your legacy is the stories people tell about you after your gone."
Thanks for the cheerful lift to my day!! Tiny tip to make you happy, too: I figured out that if I take my lint roller to the cut edges of my jellyrolls BEFORE I open them, I can fill up 2 or 3 sheets with lint! Really cut down on the mess. Thanks for sharing your loving quilt and your ideas AND your suggestions for quilting it, too. Love, love, love your Midnight Quilt Show, Angela.
It seems so obvious now that you say, I don't know why I didn't think of that sooner! Thanks for the tip!
I am so thrilled that I stumbled upon you. your quilts are beautiful and your personality makes watching so much fun. Thanks
Such a pretty quilt Angela!
Love it and I look forward to every Midnight Quilt Show! You do a great job Angela!
Wow, this is gorgeous, I hope you enjoyed making this quilt as much as I enjoyed seeing it come together. Last week's quilt was maybe even more beautiful than this one, but this is the quilt that inspires me. I am usually scared off by so many little pieces, but you made the whole process so approachable that I want to make this quilt and I want to quilt it!
Still my favorite!
Thanks Angela, I look forward to watching you, so thought I wasn't looking in the right place....😀😀
I love it. I think scrap quilts are my favorite.
I bought the Grandpa's Cupboard quilt kit from Quiltsy. I love the fabrics and colors though I have never sewn with flannels. But I agree that family heirlooms are precious! I have a Double Wedding Ring quilt that was pieced by my great grandmother and my grandmother. I see fabrics my grandmother used to make clothes for me and my sisters. The quilt top was stored in a brown paper bag for at least 50 years. I sent it to a hand quilter since that is how my grandmother would have done it. There was also a shoe box with extra pieces and the templates. The hand quilter said the fabrics ranged from the early 1920's to the late 1960's. There were shirtings, drapery fabric, etc. Which all the different weights did a number on her fingers! I put the extra pieces and the templates that were cut from the backs of Hallmark cards in a shadow box. I also have a couple of other quilts from my grandmother and all of the quilts are my prized possessions!
Love it and especially telling about your love for Grandpa. I look forward to watching you.
Loved this pattern and the message. Don't know how many times my husband remembers helping his mom create necessary blankets for the family. Love your show and humor as well. Watch you a lot in the evening. Happy 2020.
Great Quilt! Thank you for sharing your story!!!!
Love, love love! Fantastic quilt! Thank you for inspiring us and sharing, Angela.
love big blocks and scrappy, thanks
Invest in the Stripology ruler by creative grid...you don't have to think about those 2.5 inchers. They are marked beautifully and you can cut so many by just laying the ruler down once! Game changer!
Nice!!!! Thanks for the tip, I'm off to check it out!
Love to watch your show you make me laugh and feel more confident in my own abilities!! Thanks so much!!
Looks fun and easy, and a perfect way to use up stash!
Nice quilt! Thank you for sharing!
I LOVE your videos!!! You are fabulous!!!!
I love this pattern....and I really enjoy your videos.......
I love your show and am even more enjoying them since I met you personally at Blessington AcDemy 2019. Thank you for all the inspiration. Bless you Angela.

beautiful quilt...and what a sweet sentiment about grandpa....love your videos ...just started quilting and find your instructions super clear...thanks
yay!!! I'm excited for you as you start on this journey!!
What a wonderful stroll down Memory Lane! I have a quilt that my late mother (born in 1915) pieced when she was 17. It was quilted by her mother or her favorite sister (she couldn't remember which one). Quilts are the threads that bind generations together. Thank you for sharing your story (and your grandfather) with us.
I love stories like that!!! Thank you for sharing!
That is lovely! They really are the threads that bind.
Jeanette Waverly ..
I just passed along the two quilts I had that my Grandmother made to my Neice and nephew for Christmas - I miss having them but the time was right to pass them along - each stitch in those is like having a warm hug from my Grandmother she put so much love into them
Wow - what a beautiful quilt :) I hope one day to be able to quilt as beautifully as you did!
Ur quilt. Are beautiful. But without measurements how.to stich
Thank you for showing how easy this is, but most of all the quilting pattern you used! I'm a beginner and need all the suggestions I can get! Love your videos!!

Angela you could have popped in for a glass of wine and some pop corn! Keep the shows coming!
Another fab one, can't keep up myself but I love every single one. Would love to see you make a Bargello quilt
That is amazing!!!!
Love the quilt and story of the quilt, maybe your son could have this quilt
I am going to give it him so I can steal Grandpa's quilt back!
All that lint is why I don't buy Precuts. Especially if they are pinked. Makes it difficult to line up the seams as well.LOVE your tutorials. And I love the size of blocks you make too.
I so love this quilt & downloaded the free pattern, i have a jelly roll called Mille Couleurs by Moda which I will use to make this one with either a chocolate like you have or an olive green which will look great ...thanks for the pattern and quilting tips :)
4-27-'17 .... I was looking forward to seeing a new episode but there was none as of 4 am ... BUMMER ... I am a true MIDNIGHT QUILT SHOW watcher as I do not have unrestricted internet til after midnight.
