@@YouLoveItBiatch you’re right he wasn’t earning what they are today but it was still the premiership era, he would have still been earning in a week what a lot of people earn in a year. The case with his wife was after his playing career I think so wouldn’t have an impact.
Leaving aside Ray mentioned that much of the stuff was for family, it is not really about the goods or the money, it is about getting one over on a mate for a laugh and seeing his reaction and if he can get out of it or not. No doubt this was either revenge for something earlier or Thierry got his revenge later on.
