I've never seen Matilda, but I have a feeling I won't be able to watch this scene in the movie without picturing this video. As my kids would say, this is fire.
Whoever created this needs a job as Music Supervisor in Hollywood. Probably the most badass scene ever. The scene wasn’t even made for this and bro changed the entire narrative.
I realize this isn't the song in the movie (haven't seen it), but I wouldn't have been aware of this scene without this mashup, and I'm actually mildly interested in seeing the movie now. Bravissima.
This cut is so great you might want to avoid the original. BUT DON'T! The song and dance from the film is amazing, and choreography/videography is out of this world. I also recommend the "making of" video about this piece, and reading about Meesha Garbett (Red Beret Girl). The full movie is worth watching too, but this scene steals it.

Now this is what you call complete subjective choreography. This is superb work given the fact that this was choreographed on a completely different cadence and it still synced perfectly to the song. Interpretation and performance transitions.
It took me several watches to realize just how many kids do flips in the video- they must have recruited at least half the extras from a gymnastics class, or something.
The timing to the Music is REALLY WELL DONE! It is Clever. I think even The students at HOGWARTS would 'freak-out' if they saw this crew coming! I will watch this often I think for a giggle/ LOL.
