Very interesting, especially how Max moved away from the academy structure at a time he was too small and moved to play futsal (in particular small sided games and developing aspects of technical play) and started to "really enjoy the freedom Futsal gave to his football and make improvements to his game using both sports and the benefits of traditional football and futsal. I admire his dedication and desire to keep going and playing the game that let him down. He obviously loves the game. Its also very interesting how he ended up getting a professional contact and ultimately being trusted by a Portuguese Coach at Wolves and group of players who I am sure respect the foundation of futsal and appreciate those players who have developed their skills in that part of the game to then transition to the Premier League.
