The healing potion is the main cause of crashing.
Also, there's a support item that has an aura that gives 5 armor. But when you get away from the aura you don't lose the 5 armor, and getting close again gives another 5 armor, stacking infinitely

League of the ancient defensive legends
League hero design with dota stats and items would be definitely way stronger than dota 2 heroes in both games. Especially the new ones are all as mobile as say void spirit while getting to pull off some retarded moves. The only reason league was balanced in the past is that they don't have stuff like blink dagger, bkb and every hero builds cool down reduction so it's taken into balance consideration.
Also tbf yasuo is way stronger in this mod than he is in league, his dashes are longer and dota creeps give hella more gold and towers are weak. In league tower damage is high and stacks the more you get hit. Even in the super late game a full tank build can not tank a t1 tower(if any is still standing) forever unlike dota where a heart and AC allows you to tank T4 towers forever.
The turnrate kinda nerfs him quite a bit. Though the 100% crit on 2 items just murders dota champs.

The hero design and baseline power of abilities in Dota is astronomically higher than league abilities. Overloaded kit meme is funny and all, but the only advantage league has is scaling abilities just due to how the game works. The duration and ease of cc in dota is incomparable to league
One thing I noticed that itemization is so unbalanced with a big lean in favor of League. The League items are WAAAY cheaper than dota items, yet the creep bounties they get is way more than usual. Usually in league they get like 20 gold per creep. League side can build items more faster and probably achieve full slot within 30 minutes
If I'm assuming correctly, the League minions here give normal league gold and xp which is like, 2x to 3x lower than the usual dota creeps. The dota team has items that are like twice as expensive than the league team with half the gold income they usually would get while the league team has cheap items and have twice the gold income.

I think the main issue balance wise is that creeps give the same amount of gold and exp as their game, so league champions her a lot more good than dota heroes
I mean this is also poor people playing the league champions if you put like 5 league players on them you wouldnt survive laning phase as league is all about fighting. In dota you deny, last hit and pull camps and trade a few autos. League your using spells and autos from lvl 1 people die often lvl 1-2-3 and this is where league snowballs out of control the adc can kite for fun as he has no turn rate what can an early dota hero do vs jinx, thresh that can play the game. also league is 1-18 and dota is 1-30 giving you an even worse early game your spells cost to much mana league doesnt yasuo mid doesnt even use mana. His W can also block auto attacks dota characters all use autos so anyone playing a ranged character is technically griefing in a 5v5 teamfight in this mode if it was coordinated.
In the original video that @Meeponegeroi made this custom game for, the league heroes also won. He took high mmr dota players (11k+) and put them against high mmr league players (I think one was a worlds champion or something like that). He also makes a lot of custom games with godmode for certain heroes, the one hero is usually very strong and gets upgrades every 5 or 10 minutes, and has to play against 5 others. The upgraded hero usually wins against semi-pro teams as long as he survives the first weaker phases, but it's fun to watch. So if you have time to use some google translate, you could find some fun custom games that way (invoker, rubick, pudge, techies, ogre). Ogre is especially fun, but it requires two people to control the hero

from how killing the league side jungle giving same gold as league, while killing dota side jungle&creep giving dota amount of gold, i think league side is having a huge advantage because their gold gain from killing dota creep is much higher than league minions, each league creep wave gives 125 gold while dota creep gives much more. aside from having much higher gold gain in league, their item has league price, while dota side have their item at dota price. IE and daedalus are kind of similar item, IE is 2k gold cheaper and using dota gpm to buy. 18kill and 140 cs is barely enough for 3item+boots

The design philosophy is really different and this mod shows that off a bit. league doesn't have as many abilities like Rupture that just single handedly ruins someone's entire game plan the way Dota does. Dota combos wombo way harder in my opinion and also with coordinated teams actually using tp defending and smokes I don't think the league side would do as well
Don't know about that. Malphite R is infamous, Moderkai R is litterally removing one member of your team to an arena to 1 vs 1 with him. Nocturn point and click to your position from 3 screen away.
And League abilities are mostly skill shot which make them hard to hit in normal situation, which make League much more focus on Combo. Malphite tank for example, use R to CC for other to combo in as he does not have great damage.

I could write i reaaaaally long text explaining you that dota 2 heroes have more damage on mid and lategame than league champs (im diamond in league) just trust me i've been spending a lot of time on the hero testing and the champ testing dota 2 stats including damage are more op.
this mod is unbalanced as hell btw (u farm dota items with lol creep gold (not that much) and u farm lol items with dota creep gold (much more) so yeah, u basically have so much item diff towards dota side making this pretty unfun) but apart of that i love the idea honestly
The gold and prices could be averaged against each other. I'm surprised they went to the trouble of making the mod without doing something relatively simple like that. Maybe it would be laborious than I'm imagining.

League only has one free item and one buyable ward that doesn't even become invisible to detect invisibility and it has a shitty range with long cooldown too lmao youre right. An invis hero would wreck League so bad.

yep, turbo settings for Dota side would pretty much balance it out, specially considering that LoL creeps gives like 17 gold in average and about 125 gold per wave

Very interesting and high quality content, but from the looks of it, as I've played Dota 2 only, League looks kinda bad as in graphic and ui wise. But overall it looks like a solid game for people who finds dota hard to play,
I play both. I consider dota harder overall but league is a mechanical hell, the game is made off of dashes and skillshots. And yeah, graphics, ui and client are all utter trash.
Edit: Think i didn't express my idea quite right with the "mechanical" word here, first as someone else quoted on reddit the two communities see the "mechanical" thing differently.

This mode, id always thought midlane dota casters would do better in lane vs lol champs since dota basic skills tend to deal around 300 dmg at max rank while lol mages(in this mode ahri) have less base dmg but can built ap and cdr. Turns out having a self contained kit works well in that regard, until you cheese them with orchid.
Also, yasuo is so toxic to lane against. They ported his lol values and a distance of 500 in dota is farther than it is in lol. With the way casting works in dota, windwall is very oppressive.
You can tell hes a dota player by the fact he doesnt do anything in lane just farm this dude your fighting cant hit you with anything just E-q through wave then wall in front and auto Q its not possible for him to lane league is all about fighting 80% of the time.

League is a lot more about positioning before fights. There are definitely outplayes that can be made in the middle of a fight but those are very quick in most cases. Half of the job of a carry is straight up to reliably stand in a position they can deal damage without taking damage because tanking more than 1 champions usually means instant death.
Well... I believe all MOBA games are about positioning before fights. Dota-wise, think about an out of position Phoenix dropping an egg just before a fight starts, or a smoke movement up through the Radiant triangle staircase chokepoint into a Jakiro ice/macropyre. All personal experiences, and all a complete failure of positioning.

One of the main thing lol has up in edge in this game mode is Lifesteal and Antiheal. Almost every league champ has a form of healing or lifesteal. And on top is they have 5 items that does decrease healing. While dota only has 1

Yep, doesn't help that he didn't even mention the actual title of the custom game. But he has his own reasons where he said at the start of the video. I see the point, we don't know the legality of this game mode and we know Riot likes to sue the hell out of everything so yes, very understandable why.
I'm guessing that he is respecting the designers by not outing them in case it actually happens. Baumi would be the one actually taking the hit.
