Clitheroe is a classic park I haven't been in over 10 years though. Watching your videos over the last few weeks has been super helpful as Glossop park is my local but I work from Oldham / Chadderton. I had a trip to Chadderton & Shaw last week & had a great day. That Manny pad & hip at Shaw is ace need to go back there soon Hit me up let's go skate!
The hip at fitton hill skatepark is far better than shaw as it lines up nicely with the ramps unlike shaw. The best park in the area though (even if it is a little bit further out) is balderstone. It over towards rochdale but if you have time to go there I would highly recommend.
It looks good . Especially that big bowl. Surley there must ne subscribers that could help you out with transport. Also go skating together. Nice video
There is a guy who has a channel called dad leisure skateboarding who I have skated with before and he drives. The only issue is he is only free on Tuesdays and I'm not always free then.
The Shuv on that steep bank you did was sick mate. It looks like a cool park personally, but your right 5 hours is a lot of time to travel and I’d feel I’d need something pretty special at the end of it.
In a car it wouldn't take as long, so if somebody was going with me who drove I'd defo go again. I wouldn't travel up there by tram and train again though. It was an ok park but nothing super.
I'd be interested in trying that park, it looks really good... but 2.5 hours is a bit much. Having said that I do enjoy travelling and exploring new parks. It's just over an hour for me so maybe I will get there soon! We need to get more sessions together, the last road trip was awesome!
In a car its a lot shorter of a trip. It was only that long because I was traveling by tram, train and foot. We defo need to go and get some more session together. Shame I don't get more Tuesdays off.
Enjoyed watching this, park looked pretty decent but I’m pretty lazy with regards to travelling to skate nowadays. The pad/ block that run along the top of the back and down the side looked like it could be fun ✌🏻
Yeah it was a good park but it didn't really have anything stand out that made it worth the long trip. If this park was closer I'd be there a lot but with it being that far away I don't I'll be bk.
@@amskateboards, yer I get that completely. I’m due to meet up with some old 90’s skater mates in Milton Keynes next Sunday for an annual meet up skate which will take 4 hours each way whether I drive or get the train from Devon to Paddington then Euston to MK 😳
It looks like a good park. It has everything needed. Worth the trip, probably. I would travel to that park if there was one or two obstacles that I really wanted to skate. Maybe that is the flat bar for you. For me it would be the big box Manny pad with the drop off. The other side to the trip is that you have a few better parks closer. So I guess it has to be about what you want to skate.
I think you are spot on. If the right obstacle is there then its worth the travel. For me I would say this park is worth the journey in a car as it cuts it in half but I don't think I would travel by tram and train again.
I really do need to put more effort into progressing as I'm getting old lol I'm only 40min away from Clitheroe so I might give it a shot in the morning if it's not pishin it down 👍
Good luck with the weather its always raining lol. I would say if it does ever stop raining its worth a 40 min drive. Its nothing superb or stand out but its good and has most things you would want.
Almost any park you go too is better than my local Altho it is new its classed as a wheel park not a skatepark and is aimed more towards anything that's not a skateboard You have been to it last year i think. if you're an advanced skater it would be good for you but as a beginner it's not. Centre Vale Park And yes this park looks great and we'll worth the travel I'm going to Leeds in a couple weeks as I do deliveries there and pass there skatepark Looks great so get there early and hopefully get some quiet time to practice a bit.
Centre Vale is not a bad park but I do thing when you see other parks you always feel they seem better just becasue they are something different. Clitheroe is defo no good for beginners, all the ramps are big.

Nice Fakie big spin on the bank. 👍 It looks like an interesting park. Some good variety there.

Half cabs up banks are really challening for me. Well done! Half cab over hip is soo scary!
I feel more comfortable doing an half cab than an ollie which is strange I know.
Looks like a decent park props to you for making the trip down there
Yeah it was decent but not great, for that reason I thing this is a one off.

@@amskateboards there were a lot of parks like that in Korea. Train vs driving is a factor.
