Good route, I've been riding around Rivington for a while but not found some of those runs. I ride both a Scott Genius and a E Genius. Rivington is one for the Ebike as some of those climbs are long. The decent from Winter Hill to Belmont is pretty good.
It is good and the ground will be a bit softer than when we rode it in the video so more grip. The trees at Healey Nab have been removed this year due to a tree virus so don't know if the trails are clear.
@@TheSamleyland1994 Would love to but I haven't got a mountain bike at the moment as I'm training for a Lands End to John O'Groats road ride starting 3rd September... uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/Lejoggers1
The emtb I'm riding in this video is a 2018 Vitus E-Sommet. I sold it last November and do not currently have any mountain bikes. I've been riding mainly road this year in preparation for a 9 day, Lands End to John O'Groats ride which starts this Thursday 3rd September... uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-display/showROFundraiserPage?userUrl=Lejoggers1&isTeam=true. There will be 'Live' tracking as well... locatoweb.com/en/tracks
Defo! Some varied terrain and parking is free. Healey Nab underwent tree felling to remove diseased larch in February 2020 and the trails weren't rideable back then. I've looked at some other vids since and they are clear now but will seem different if you rode it before. The other trails at Rivington can be spoilt by too many walkers, especially at the weekends, so go early. We started our ride at 8am.
@@2wheelsonline aahh nice one! Need some places other than round Darwen. Went to some trails at Entwistle reservoir the other day and they were well beyond my capability and daring haha

Shame all those trees and routes on healey nab are no longer there. That’s basically my back garden. They felled a couple of hundred trees last year.
