My mum and I saw Cannon and Ball on the North Pier when I was a wee girl, thought they were great, after the show I remember we stood at the stage door, got autographs, then walked back down the pier with Bobby who had his arm around my shoulder, made my day! 😆 xxx
George Formby was King Blackpool,but Cannon and Ball were brilliant ,the British version of Abbott and Costello just not as famous ,but like the American greats they did the same routines for over 20 years bless .
