Didn’t do as well on this one. My arms must’ve gotten tired cause I’m shaking a lot worse than the office tour. I still had a blast hanging out and filming.
I never got the Steel Brigade figure as a kid. i was getting old enough to stop collecting and had considered but i never pulled the trigger, however The Steel Brigade was the first figure I pre-ordered from action force, I look forward to getting my first Steel Brigade figure once BBTS gets them in stock.
As a kid I was lucky enough to have been there for the original release of G.I.JOE A Real American Hero action figures in 1982, my favorites being Snake Eyes, Stalker & Rock N Roll. Sadly, we all get older & I moved past my JOE & MOTU & Star Wars figs. So I wasn’t collecting & playing when Steel Brigade came around. Thanks to you Bobby I’m now aware of them & how cool they are, would have definitely been a fave of mine next to my original Joe Team ;)
Loved my SB figure back in the day. I think I had version A with the cross bandolier on the chest and the rifle was grey with only a bayonet. I might still have my patch, either I still have it or my memory of it is that strong. Love your 1:6 version, my 1/6 has a custom SB head, it's my favorite 1:6 figure I own. Looking forward to the SB action Force figure!
I never got the original Steel Brigade as a kid, but I did get a couple in the 25th body style. Recently I had to sell my Joe collection and those were the only two figures I kept. I am looking forward to starting my Action Force collection with Steel Brigade when they are available.
Very nice. Makes me excited for the new era of Steel Bridge coming out. Had to go big on that order. Don’t have any old school ones but did get into the I think 30 anniversary g.I joe SB ones.
I still have my original. I have him sitting behind Ace in my Original Sky Striker from when I was a kid. I am pretty sure I named him Airwolf. I seem to have lost everything except the figures. That is so awesome he is your favorite and your collection is fantastic.
I still have my original. For the life of me I can’t remember the code name I gave him. I do remember filling in the form and choosing all the naval/diving options and thinking Hasbro would send me a diver figure. I was young enough to think they were making custom figures and was very upset when he didn’t come with flippers.
Thanks for the visit into your museum. Nice work Sal, sore arm? Bobby, I never had GI Joe in the 80s but when I bought all of the new Action Force line I wanted to get an o-ring Sgt Slaughter and Steel Brigade to put with my vintage AF SAS, as a comparison piece to the new range for display. Cost required a rwpro Steel Brigade but I understand the love you have for this figure. Great work!
@@Mvargo97 Versions 1 - 4, but I do consider international releases and the 2006 convention figure as part of the Slaughter Corps. Even Supercop gets a pass 😎
To think I called my self a huge gi joe fan. Granted only collected the figures big time for 3 years and loved the comics till got booted from my parents house at 13 and joined navy at 17. Yet I still got a figure here and there my adult years. But I never heard of steel brigade until first ordered my stuff from ur line of action force a year ago or when ever they came out for order. Some joe fan I am huh…what a poser I am….
Man I remeber sending away for my Steel Brigade figure after seeing the one my friend had who was the BIG GI Joe collector when I was a kid. I took so long to get it where I live in Canada I actually forgot about it till my Dad came home one day giving me shit for ordering something in the mail without his permission and how the heck did I pay for it? 😅 It was the first thing I ever mail ordered and the lady at the post office in Canada was very helpful. 😅
I never did get the steel brigade as a kid I have one now that I found at a yard sale and I have a knock off steel brigade and a knock off gold head from black Major who looked pretty cool but I do have to say the one D version that I found at a yard sale is by far my most favorite figure in my collection
What’re your thoughts on the 1993 Create a Cobra Mail Away figure? If it wasn’t for the color choice and came out earlier in the line I think it could’ve been fairly popular too.
Question to Bobby. I came across on ebay this Steel Brigade. I was wondering if this was a custom or part of the steel brigade collection. Gi. Joe STEEL BRIGADE DELTA 3 3/4 Thanks Chris G.
At this point this isn't a collection anymore, rather an intricately detailed archive of the figure's history.
Super cool 😎 collection💯 👍🏾👌🏾

Love the display Bobby thank u for sharing it with us

Thanks for sharing, awesome collection with rich history.
Awesome collection. The displays and the custom figure are particularly amazing.
Great collection
Fantastic collection!

One of my fave figs. I have a variant D with the black missing on the belt pouches.
Thanks for sharing!
Love seeing the custom carded repro figs in such an honored display. So happy they are yours now they look better there at Vhq.

That is some heavy intro music 👍
That's a huge collection! Can't wait to get my Steel Brigade from BBTS.

I submitted my Steel Brigade soldiers recently into your tracker. Looking forward to seeing my guys get recognized.

My favourite figure is a Mail Away as well 😎😜 I have over 300 vintage Sgt Slaughter figures and climbing. Trying to get to 777. I get the obsession 😁
300 of just the mail away version or all versions?

I lost mine unfortunately.. All I have left of him is his Backpack and his Gun. It is the 1A backpack though.

I still have my two versions of steel brigade figures
Do you have my original file card ‘Scott Gilson’? I sold it on eBay several years ago.
I had one I traded from a kid back in the day. Definitely wouldn't have been version A.
