BIG help thanks.Coming to Rome in Sept. and now I know where it's located thanks to you.
Hi Allyssa your videos very interesting ❤️👋👏👏🛌
I visited this Basilica in April 2023, thank you for this informative video which made me understand things better, pleased to come across your UA-cam channel.
Yay, welcome! Thanks for commenting and I'm happy you enjoyed it!
I visited St Paul’s Basilica last September 2023. Rome was our first stop before we flew to Spain to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostella. My friend is an art historian so she loves to visit the museums and is such a great travel partner! We loved St Paul’s. It was nice to see it again in your video! Thank you Alyssa!
Good one and would love to have more from your channel. I enjoyed and subscribed.💖💓💞
🤩

Very nice. We visited this about 30 years ago. Parts I do remember (all the popes, the Easter candle, and the design) but seeing it on the video is very informative. I'm DELIGHTED to have found your UA-cam channel and I'll be watching more as time permits. Right now I'll watch this one again. Thank you.
You are so sweet, Karen, thank you! I'm happy you found my channel too!! ❤️
Excellent and informative video. I will be revisiting Rome this Sept and this Bassilica is on our itinerary. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!! Yes, you have to go see it! Super easy off the B line metro
beautiful. I have put on my list going to Rome this month. Thank u.
Yay, so exciting! Hope you love it✨
Adesso vivo all'EUR. Ma la Garbatella è sempre nel mio cuore e ci torno spesso a mangiare nel mio ristorante preferito.
Grazie ancora! Le tue foto e video sono scattate perfettamente.
Grazie mille Michael, sei molto gentile!!
Awesome video again! Thought it was funny that you thought it was a snail in the painting 🤣
😂 I was so confused the first time I saw it! hahaha
HI Alyssa your videois very interesting but there is a big mistake: the byzantine bronze door is not the central one, more recent (1932) and made by Maraini. The Holy Door is the first on the right and the original medieval panels inlaid with silver are visible inside. The side on the courtyard is recent and made to protect the original one. This church needs big attention, because its origins are very old.
Thanks so much! I had a hard time finding the correct information on the doors, as there weren't many images included in everything I read. I had a feeling it was the one on the right, but I did show the image of the central one while I was talking about it. Thanks for the clarification!
Roma non sarà certo internazionale come NYC o Londra, ma se si parla di bellezza non e seconda a nessuno 😎
Basilica molto imponente. Vero?
sì, è bellissima 😍
It shows so clearly the contrast between how the Vatican has treated St. Peter and St. Paul. Peter's right in the heart of the city. Paul is "outside the walls". The worst part is Jesus sent Paul to Rome -- not Peter. Paul was the true "bishop of Rome".
Paul never met Jesus
@@Sennen2008 Paul is a litmus test of faith in the Resurrection of Jesus. If you believe that Jesus actually is Risen, there's no reason to doubt Paul. If you don't believe Jesus is Risen, you have every reason to doubt Paul.
It's up to you... is Jesus Christ actually Risen or is He not?
Paul met Jesus (after His resurrection) on the road to Damascus. Paul went to Rome to appeal to Caesar. He waited 2 years for his trial. Nero was evil and took Paul’s life.
👌👌👌
Ciao bella
