So I know it hasn’t been released yet. But just judging from the trailer, Last Defense Academy looks like it’s shaping up to be a more refined and actualized version of Danganronpa S’s combat system.
Doing a disservice to yourself not playing Rain Code IMO. Sure it's not Danganronpa, but it had a lot of great qualities going for it and its own fun twists that scratch that DR itch.

Raincode is really good, and its basically like if DR1 had a different premise and came out as 3d! If you liked any of the dangan games it's literally made for you, you should totally get into it :]

So funny story about this game: Its made by a different company. It is true its being made by the creator of danganronpa but said creator has since left spike, the studio that made danganronpa. So it literally is a copyright friendly danganronpa lol
Imagine if this game has a secret Danganronpa mode.😅 Danganronpa has a “school mode” which essentially turns the game into a dating sim, but what if the reverse happens here? Just, an ENTIRE mode full with chapters dedicated to class trials and investigations.
I played the Danganronpa series for its murder mysteries and premise. I'm actually not too fond of the lore or the wacky characters. So, I'm not interested in this tower defense, strategy, whatever it is just because it's got the same coat of paint.
