Turn your can opener (or any hand held) on its side, clamp it on the can, then turn the knob. I saw this on UA-cam. Before i saw that i always struggled with hand held can openers. Not any more. 😊. Thanks for the delicious looking recipe.
Yum! Looks delicious. I love the cameo appearance from your pup.
She never misses a video!
The knuckle measure never fails😊 Great recipe👍
It's never let me down Bobbi!
Looks amazing. Can't wait to try it. Love your videos and love that you use ingredients already on hand without having to go to the store to get most of them.
Oh Lordy that looks amazing!
You got the touch, Matt. That chicken looks awesome. 😋😋😍
Thanks Lloyd!
That's my fav way to do stirfry.
Looks and sounds amazing!!! 6:00

Made this tonight and it was awesome!
Added some diced water chestnuts also.
The cornstarch trick to get browning on chicken worked great.
Looks very delicious Hussey 👍🏽 . Like the pineapple with chicken and a bit spicy sounds great.
Thank you! Can’t wait to try this!
Right on. We hope it turns out great.
Good Groceries!!! That looks delicious.

Love watching your videos! That’s some good groceries right there!
Appreciate you watching!
I love the finger measuring device. My kind of griddling! I appreciate your videos!
It's a great tool to have!
Really enjoy your videos.. I’m learning a lot from your videos. Just got a Blackstone. Thanks.

Thank you so much!
THAT looks delicious! Thank you for sharing with us. Been awhile since we saw the wife & kids in these videos. I hope all are well. Maybe it's time for some "cameo appearances"??
Man oh man that looks good.
Thanks my friend!
Good night in the morning 😂
You told that right!
Our favorite Hussey saying!
Like this dish alot. Fairly easy and simple dish but looks awesome and tastes GREAAT!. GRIDDLE ON DUDE.
Thanks! Hope you can give it a try soon!
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤
I love watching you cook and everything you make looks so good! I wish you could offer a printable recipe for each of your videos. I'm lazy and hate writing everything down and rewinding to get everything correct. TFS!
The written recipe is usually up on the website now or just shortly after this my friend.
@@thehungryhussey Thank you for responding
Nice job! Looks good buddy!
It's seriously as good as it looks, maybe even better! So worth trying out!
Love the vids, Matt! So easy to follow and the recipes I’ve tried came out great! I have one quick question. You used your Olive/Avocado Oil Blend, again. Could you please share the ratio of olive to avocado?
I have the can opener that you used here... Your supposed to lay it horizontal so that it is laying across the can so the blade is cutting the sides and around the can, not from the top down. Try that and you will see how well it works. The method also works with most of your can openers that most of us have in our drawers :)
Looks great. Can’t wait to try it. Do you have a background in cooking. Really know what you’re doing
Thanks for watching! No, not really a trained chef or even a cook. I did work at a fish camp (seafood restaurant) from 16 - 21 yrs old though.
Nickel measurements I haven't heard since a kid. I 51yrs old.
Ole knuckle every time!
👍🏻
Is the cutting wheel of the can opener supposed to go horizontal on the outside of the seam?
Shoot, I don't even know. Lol 😂 That thing trips me up every time!
I am a complete beginner. Any chance there is a written recipe with measurements on this recipe? I just don’t really have a point of reference of “add a little”…… sorry. Just looking for some guidance. This looks absolutely delicious and can’t wait to try it! I just need a little more on the measurements. 🤷♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!!
Velveting is what you’re doing with the cornstarch.
Well, that's close. Velveting is usually cornstarch and egg white, and then blanching it in oil or water to be stir fried later.
@@thehungryhussey There are many ways to velvet, but the simplest form is cornstarch and oil. You coated with cornstarch and the oil is on the griddle.
How do you know it's good before you made it? Also your knuckle idea is silly. lol those sausages aint like mine. So ya... there's that
On average everyone’s first knuckle is about an inch long. This is a long tried and true method. Basically, no matter how much rice you cook, the water should be an inch over the rice.
How do I know it's good before I made it, is because I know I'm good. 😂 Actually, I most times shoot the intro last so I can describe how and what I tasted. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. Just depends.
Research the knuckle test my friend. Also, I mean, did you see that rice? It was perfect. I've cooked a lot of rice and never once measured the liquid!!
@@thehungryhussey sorry I just being a troll. No harm intended 😜
Ummh! So you just not going to clean that chicken at all huh?
As long as chicken reaches the recommended internal temp while cooking you don't need to wash it. In fact, many tests have shown that washing your chicken actually spreads bacteria more and can make things worse.
@@BlackstoneGriddles and therein lies the difference between how some cultures known for incurable diseases cook. No thank you.
Looks delicious though🙂
