I'm excited about the Amish community in Sarasota. I had no idea they were that close to me. I'm definitely going to try to make a trip down there this winter.

My fave "Deere 'Cross America" tractor was there ..... One of my most FAVOURITE tractors ....
I wish someone would do a full length vid on the tractor itself! :)

This was fun. In my county in rural N.E. California we do the same thing. Though we have less farm equipment and more logging trucks, state and federal forest firefighting equipment, snow plows and rotary plows, etc. I was glad to see some Mennonite participation.
    Nice video. Thanks.

    God speed Mr. Bontrager.
Did a little research and unfortunately found out the reason for no new videos. 😥

@@audreyw3819 Googled his name and found an obituary. Didn't know Mr. Bontrager at all, but he did mention a kidney transplant and apparently had complications? Too bad, he seemed like a salt of the earth kind of guy....

Hi Ernest, great vidoes showing how the Amish arn't Amish any more. Im a little offended of all the activities with the modern world and how people film them making them to be different then others, its all about MONEY, has been for yrs. they R the same as any one else . Im not against them Im happy for them. I grew up in this community (Pinecraft) area, many of my best friends when growing up were Amish and Mennonite. Seeing the Motel in Pinecraft hit a sore spot in my younger life, I hope this Motel is closed on Sunday since, there belief is rest and no work on the Lords Day (NOT). I will not condemn the church I spent many yrs. attending in this area other then the preacher (Beechy) that ask me to leave the church over a conversation over a few dollar (like less then $2.00) I accured on a Sunday afternoon, I found it, and he wanted me to put it in the collection basket for the church, in which all my younger friend attended, this man made mucho dollars and it was all made on Sundays, he drove a fancy car and lived in a big house being a preacher in the Amish and Mennonite faith. I left the church and all my friends in growing up in the religious world, never to come back, Im saddened Cing this progress in Pinecraft. I dearly miss my younger life and friends (SHUNNED).
