The most difficult part Supertramp fans have in understanding is the realization of how Rick Davies was also a child prodigy. He is so under appreciated concerning his organ playing ability. Meanwhile, Rick's earlier playing of the percussion was masterful. Rick was the one who as a boy would go marching off following after a Drum Corp marching band. She then said that he would never again quite return as the same person being forever changed. As his mother would know best, I think that sums up Supertramp the group.
Both Mr. Hodgson and Mr. Davies are equally important and essential for Supertramp. The different style of their songwriting, playing and singing is what makes Supertramp so relevant. This is also the reason why they never really picked up again, after they separated. For me personally, though, It's a different thing. On the long run I found more joy with Mr. Davies's songs. They are more edgy, exchanging and adventurous.
Its called synergy John. Symbiosis is an undeniable proof in biology. The creativity of the group as a whole far surpasses the genius of the individual players.
What's the name of the song at the beginning of this video ? They used the synthesizer riff for the Canadian tv show in the 70's and 80's called W5. Never realized Supertramp were the perpetrators of this riff. Amazing band.
I've got the feeling that this guy has got the sensibility of being a good man, charming and wholehearted.
Supertramp & John, thank you for all of these great songs and awesome music! John's sax gives Supertramp a lot of soul and this unique sound.

I love you forever. Supertramp is an important part of my life. John's saxophone plays in intergral role.👍😎

Fool’s Overture
Rick tended to be a fifties guy. I'd classify his songs as brilliant abstracts of those yellow Happy Days. Roger tended to be more sixties.
A quando la parte 4?
Appena possibile Giovanni. Comunque non tra molto
