      Kevin McKinzie NO KM it can not...although the administrations (inclusive of congress) since LBJ participated in his administration's legacy (really the USFG of WDC's legacy). Look at the economic charts and you will see that LBJ was at the foot (BEGINNING) of the "Hockey Stick" . His administration was instrumental in sticking the U.S. into a no win "quagmire" war in Vietnam ....a HUGE, massively expensive, generation destroying mistake.

    From what I found out, doing research on a paper for school a hundred years ago, about the assassination, Jackie was forced to be in the picture.... and she hated it. But, she was told the American people needed to see that she supported LBJ... which she didn't. They took advantage of her fragile condition to get that picture. She wanted to ride with her husband... it was very sad.

    • @LadyDragonsblood
      @LadyDragonsblood 8 років тому +5

      Bel Ban
      Yes... it was her way of revenge for forcing the picture in the first place....Lady Bird was MOST unhappy with Jackie for staying in the dress.
      AND as you said, she also wanted the country to see her husband's blood.

    I believe Austin is one of those cities that passed undue regulations on Uber and Lyft to support their taxi industry. Won't say which political party is in charge down there, but anyone interested can look it up. (It's the one that is traditionally against small business and business innovation.)

    • @robhimself79
      @robhimself79 8 років тому +4

      Jim Schuck most of NY state doesn't have it because they require uber drivers to operate under the same oppressive taxi laws as NYC which in some cases are over 100,000 to get a taxi license.
      and Democrats the answer is over regulating anti small capitalism Democrats. Austin is the Seattle of texas

    • @AbandonedMaine

      What's wrong with making them pass the same stringent background checks that taxi drivers have to go through? Haven't you had enough of criminals assaulting and raping customers while driving for a company that makes you agree to waive your right to sue them in case of injury or damage?

    • @robhimself79
      @robhimself79 8 років тому +2

      El FromNY that's where I live and it is the ass holes down state that dictate all of out lives in western ny and everywhere else. people voted for this, they want everything to be regulated and now you have drunk people denied rides from taxi drivers because their card machines are "broken" that are driving home when they shouldn't. I have been waiting on a transfer and I am out of this city asap. I have been here all of my life and it has gotten worse for regular people to live every year.

      Jim Schuck Austin is pretty weird compared to the rest of the great state of Texas.
      it grew because of cheap labor for tech and now it's a political cesspool.
      their public transportation is nil. it sucks there.

    Just FYI, Stubb’s Barbecue, originated in Lubbock, Texas. The original building was on East Broadway Avenue, across the street, south of the fairgrounds. Not only was it famous for the barbecue, but for the country-western performers who ate there and sometimes performed there.

    Adam, at first I thought you were mistaken when you said the BBQ place was called Stubbs by picking up that bottle of sauce because Stubbs sauce is EVERYWHERE. It is one of my favorite bottled sauces that I have in my home kitchen. A huge national brand. But it turns out the place you went really is called Stubbs BBQ - the place and the sauce are apparently the same brand. That kinda blows my mind. Which came first, the sauce or the restaurant? I'm curious if you know. BTW, thumbs up on the BBQ quest (BBQuest?)... I loves me some good BBQ. You and Carpetbagger are the perfect men for the job. Happy travels.

    The plant in the museum reminds me of the "The Day of the Triffids.
    the plant also loves BBQ.

    There is no Uber in my town eather. No one can afford to drive others around because of the distances involved anyways. Besides,we see campers all the time in our area,its a vacation location so RV's are everywhere in the summer.

    I love Stubbs BBQ. He set up a food truck in front of my store for a few days as a promo when we first started carrying his product. The pulled pork was excellent.
