1. Don’t get angry
2. Don’t give into your desire/ be principled
3. Think of the day of judgment often
4. Keep an eye on what you think about and feel - your thoughts become your action
5. Preoccupy yourself with you faults and working on them instead of focusing on other people
6. If you dislike something about people, ask yourself if you have those qualities too
7. Trust in Allah

- who is more important me or Allah? Sacrifice that anger for His sake.
- A lot of use don’t take revenge because we don’t have the capability to but how would you act if you had power
- Sometimes what’s your right is not always what’s right in that moment
- Mercy is what makes the earth continue to move
- Whoever fears losing the love of Allah, they have the ability to say no against their desires
- Submission is choosing Allah over our desires
- Believing in the afterlife helps you govern the way you lead your life in this dunya, you can get away with things in this life but not in the next - you can’t get away from Allah
- We point fingers at the big tyrants of the day but how are we with our family, friends and people around us
- Focus on worshiping Allah
- Ride the wave of destiny, don’t be obsessed with planning leave everything to Allah and trust in Him. He will put you at the best place at the right time
